Great for home cooks
Fabulous photos for every recipe. Easy to find ingredients for home cooks with simple cooking techniques. It will be my go to cookbook for weeknight healthy vegetable forward meals.

Beautifully simple, authentic, delicious recipes
I own half a dozen Persian cookbooks, and this is by far my favorite. I have been making Persian vegetarian dishes for years, diligently searching out recipes on blogs and cookbooks, trying and testing and tweaking them. My wife is Persian and her and her family are my toughest critics, and most recipes simply do not cut it; they're too complicated, too different than what they deem authentic - and I deem delicious. This wonderful cookbook is the exception: the very first time where the recipes are close to what I've discovered after years of trial and error and modification, and then an improvement still.I showed my Persian father-in-law, who also cooks, all of my Persian cookbooks. After carefully reviewing them he declared confidently that this one was the best. I don't disagree, and so I bought a second copy for him. I can't recommend this cookbook enthusiastically enough.

Excellent! A 5-star plus purchase.
Excellent, well written Persian cookbook.I donât do reviews very often, only when a product or item is outstanding. This is an outstanding cookbook.I have cooked Persian food for many years, using several different cookbooks. I own and use Joon, Food of Life and more.I even grind and blend my own advieh....Tah dig, however, has consistently eluded me. I tried repeatedly, even buying a Persian rice cooker, but ended up with either a scorched, or a soggy, gummy mass at the bottom of the pot.I bought Ms Sepehrâs book âFrom a Persian Kitchenâ in Kindle format yesterday. Last night, for the first time, I made and enjoyed perfect chelow with tah dig using her saffron and yoghurt technique.This alone makes the book a must-have /great buy for me.However, there are many, many more well-written recipes and techniques, from across Iran, that I am looking forward to enjoying in future culinary endeavors.Ms. Sepehr has written a great cookbook.Thank you, Atoosa Sepehr!

the book is phenomenal.it is an amazing accomplishment. the book, the contents, the pictures are all superb.alas it is much to heavy to hold and read.

Gorgeous book and outstanding photography!
Gorgeous photography unlike any other book I own, the light is very subtle so the food can be prominent, which is then so beautifully plated. I made the Persian Pearl Barley Soup yesterday and everyone enjoyed it. Don't hesitate to purchase, its a beautiful book. God Bless You.

Even if you don't cook,use is as main attraction on your coffee table.
Beautifully written ,with authentic recipes, bring childhood memories back,I have made few of the dishes and couldn't be more happy with results. Even pictures are delicious.

Perfect Gift Item
Absolutely stunning! This was a gift for my Persian friend, and she loved it. It's great for new recipes and makes a lovely decor price as well. The item was wrapped/sealed in plastic to ensure the book stayed in mint condition, I loved that. The shipping was fast and I got it just in time.

He vivido 5 años en Tehran y me ha encantado la cocina persa. Como vivo en un pueblo 35 km de Madrid, donde hay dos o tres buenos restaurantes persas, si quiero comer platos persa tengo que prepararles yo. Este libro es el mejor que he encontrado hasta hoy... Prueba la sopa de tomate persa. ¥Es fenomenal!

Very good cookbook
A very good cookbook. It is not super big, but the recipes work and the photography is beautiful too. I am a passionate hobby cook, but was not very familiar with the Persian cuisine and can only say that this is an excellent introduction. And I actually like that it is not a super thick book as some others, where one suspects that not all recipes have actually been tested. If you want a taste of this particular Middle Eastern food, buy it! You wonât regret it and one feels that the author is passionate about the subject
