Cooling and Warming Blanket By Feel Cooler (Queen)

I just wrote a review for the cooling sheets -- which are a disappointment so far. I'm so glad I purchased the cooling blanket at the same time because if I'd tried the sheets first, I would've assumed that the blanket was a bust too. I'm giving the cooling sheets a few more nights with adjustments (using just the sheet with the A/C warmer or off, maybe going nude to bed, not using the blanket, using the blanket) to see if they do work. Last night I used just the blanket as a cover, wearing PJs, and with the A/C cranked up cold and I slept a full four hours without waking. A record! So I'm encouraged that the blanket lives up to the claim of being cooler. At first it was downright chilly but as I warmed up I expected to keep warming but the temperature under the blanket moderated perfectly and I slept! The blanket is quilted and helped to keep it from conforming to my body which seems to trap heat. That's my complaint about the cooling sheets -- they're ultra soft and conform to my body and trap heat instead of moderating it like the blanket. I would definitely recommend the blanket for those suffering from night sweats or heat flashes.

I was so hopeful and excited to order this blanket after hearing great things about it. It hasn't made the slightest difference to my night sweats, in fact, they actually seem to be worse. I followed the instructions that arrived with the blanket, washing it first and making sure to keep the temperature regulating fabric next to my body. Despite that, underside of the blanket (the temperature regulating side) gets hot to the touch, while the other side feels cool. No heat is passing through the blanket. I've tried turning it over with no difference. Unfortunately, it's a lot of money for a blanket that doesn't do anything special. And because I live in Canada, shipping costs for returning it will mean that I'll have spent a great deal of money and end up with nothing.

Really nice, well made product. It helped a little with the heat but, not as cool as I expected. At this price, I really had high expectations.

the cooling blanket did not meet my expectations. It is just like any other blanket. i still get too hot at night.

It is definitely an innovative product. it still has a few kinks in it but, for the most part. we are as a menopausal younger woman, (my fiance) and I, and obviously have to climate zones.I find occasionally that the blanket does the reverse of what each of us want. As I said though, for the most part, great! and great timing; it came fast and in perfect time to be what it was intended for; xmas

This blanket really works, though it can be a little cool sometimes. I suggest wearing some other clothing, like sweat pants, along with it.This is because since it seems to work and stay at 73 degrees, if you move during the night, the other part of the blanket will likely be just below 73 degrees because your body heat wasn't going there. So I've found that while I haven't woken up too warm, sometimes I will wake up in the morning feeling a little too cold. If I stop moving around then I will warm up and it's fine again, but wearing sweat pants and a shirt seems to help.

While expensive, with my SFPN based heat flushing and low heat/humidity tolerance I didn't find any benefit in the blanket and turned instead to those with fan-cooled water tubes inside. This is expensive and benefit is questionable, the latter is very expensive but benefit is clear if you can swing the cost.

The recipient has expressed that this is not necessarily a cooling blanket, more of a marketing scheme...Sorry.
