I purchase these because I was sick of having to deal with those thin, plastic baggies at the store and wanted something that I could store veggies, and homemade bread in on the counter.When I received these bags in the mail, I was impressed with the details on them. Durable fabric with heavy duty stitching, the drawstring is tough cord, not a flimsy string like some I have tried. I feel confident placing a couple of pound of produce in a single bag and carrying it.WARNING: Hand wash them the first time in cold water, I had seen that some people were complaining about the colors bleeding so I made sure to let them soak in cold water for a few minutes before washing them. The colors need to set. After washing them by hand once, I just throw them in the washing machine now on cold and I have never had a problem with discoloration or bleeding.These also work great for storing homemade bread on the counter. I bake every week and rather than putting the loaves in a plastic bag that collects condensation, I put the loaves in these bags instead. So far I am impressed, the bags don't let the bread dry out, but they don't collect condensation that will gather at the bottom of the bag and make the loaf soggy either.

You get 5 fairly large cloth bags. They're a little bigger than the plastic ones in the stores. They aren't super heavy so that shouldn't throw off your weights.I've gotten compliments from cashiers. I love these bags no only for the fact that I am avoiding the plastic waste but also because they seem to be well made and will likely last a long time. I use them for produce, bulk pantry staples, and to store my homemade bread loaves that I make.So here is where normally Amazon reviews disclaim that they got the product free or at discount for exchange for my review. Well, I didn't. I searched, deliberated, read legit reviews, and bought this at full price, and I will likely buy more at full price in the future.

I LOVE these bags! I have been using them for a week now. They are sturdy, large, and the fabric coloring is strong and attractive. I was worried that these might be too small for me, as I buy my produce in large quantities. I've had no problem, even with leafy veggies that take up a lot of space. I was worried that potatoes would rip the seems. This was not an issue either. The bags held strong with a whole bunch of potatoes.As far as washing goes, once fruit or maybe some beets have stain the bag, I've just quickly washed them and I'm good to keep using them. Great buy. Worth more than the $10 that I paid!

We love NOT using plastic! We are volunteers at the Conservation Field Station. I go to Elementary schools and teach kids how to conserve our friends (dolphins, whales, sea turtles, manatees, etc. ) and our environment. Showing them the alternatives is key for me! Thanks for making such a wonderful product!

They are really sturdy bags, but even with following the exact washing instructions (hand wash cold, lay flat to dry) I woke up to find that because of the bold colors, the dye had leaked and coated half of the tan bag in the color. I wish I'd hung them on the line upside down to prevent that from happening instead of complying with their instructions. Also they arrived wrapped in a single-use plastic wrap which I thought was counter-productive.

I just opened these bags and pre hand washed and the dye from the top leaked on to the white cotton. Wonder what disgusting chemical was used for the die. Angry and disappointed I have to put my produce in these. Do not buy!

The material is excellent quality and the bags are sturdy and well made. I purchased these to use at the super market for produce and I like that they are not mesh as carts and conveyor belts are not the cleanest -- so these are perfect to keep my produce from touching dirty surfaces. The biggest plus is that I will be reducing my use of plastic. I'm very happy with my purchase and highly recommend these eco friendly reusable bags -- love them!

I have been looking for a product that stores fruits and vegetables. The main criteria is for me to re-use it over and over again. I have been using this product for almost a month now. One advantage is it does prolong the life of the veggies and fruits. It is also color coded for ease of organizing and identifying the produce stored. Overall, I'm pleased that this product is available in the market.
