Blackcell - Creative Prank Trick Toys Electric Shocking Pen with Battery

My pen is different in appearance than the one pictured which is why I only gave 4 stars. Otherwise, it works well, shocks strongly, and appears to be a decent little device. It also arrived WAY faster than I expected which is appreciated. What I noticed is that the harder you press, the more you get shocked. A little press might not shock at all... which usually leads to the individual pressing harder. This delivers a nice strong shock.UPDATE: I took this pen to a family Christmas get together and basically just left it sitting on a table. A number of the relatives "discovered" it on their own over the course of the day. Hilarity ensued with lots of laughing followed by scheming to get other relatives to try it. Totally worth the very low price. :) Also, I'm not sure what's up with the shipping info on this, but I received it in about a week, despite the shipping indicator saying it was going to take over a month. Mine shipped quickly.

I ordered this pen with the intention of enacting vengeance on someone who had used a similar item on myself. Being the unassuming, happy little pen that this is, it wasn't long before my victim picked it up to jot something down. I was disappointed when said person couldn't even feel the shock.I imagine the pen would work better on someone more electricity-sensitive, like the Amish.I figured I'd replace the battery since the shock wasn't all that strong, but I couldn't figure out how to get into the battery compartment in a way that wouldn't tear the pen apart.It was rather amusing to hold the button down and feel the electricity tingle through my fingers, but I was just expecting something more powerful overall.My pen would not write, as I couldn't find a way to get the ballpoint to extend. I wonder if I got a dud, as other reviews state that their pen can write, and seem to have more satisfactory results with the shock.Summary - The pen did not meet expectations. It was not powerful enough, the ballpoint wouldn't extend, and I couldn't find a way to replace the battery.

Although I've seen other pens with a bit of a stronger shock. Very cool prank! It looks so realistic that I pretty much got all my friends and family members (ones that are nearby) with this prank pen. It looks like a real pen; I mean even though it is a prank pen, the pen is of good quality. Be careful not to have it around the little ones as they are very curious. A little press on that top button and you will feel a little shock; it is actually not that bad, but it did make me jump when it shocked me at first. This would make a great 'prank' gift for a friend or someone that just needs to get their finger shocked(just a little).*complimentary sample for testing and reviewing purposes

I use mine as a educational tool to learn about electronic assembly. Not just a joke item, but a really interesting device to learn about micro electronics. Science teachers should have them in classrooms. Kids would love them.

Odered October 18th 2018. Just got the pen in the mail today after a very long wait and it does not work. They want me to send it back which will be more hassel in the end with the cost to send back being more than my refund. I have a one disappointed boy here at home. l always had problem of people in my office taking my pens,so when l saw this the light bulb went on,l was in the office when l hear someone scream she had took my pen and it shock her ,now it is not a pain full shock just a WHAT feeling haha well my pens stop disappearing ,

It only shocks sometimes for me. It takes the fun out of it sometimes when you give it to someone and they press it and there is no electric response. But it did kind of work. It was like it ran really low on battery.
