Wicca for Beginners: A Basic Guide for the Modern Age to Learn About the Mysteries of Wiccan Beliefs and History, and How to Use Candles, Crystals, Herbs, Magik Rituals and Spells

As a beginner with a lengthy wicca internet history, I can wholeheartedly say this book is suitable for someone who is interest in wicca and is just beginning their journey. I am over halfway through the book and have yet to learn any great deal of new content, although I am glad to have it right in front of me instead of on my phone screen.What is terrible about this book is its apparent lack of editing. Small things like "time" (only once so far) instead of "thyme", the wrong usage of their, and the reference of something "stated previously" that had yet to be discussed.I also feel that this book claims some things to be universal or more widely used within the wiccan/pagan/witch community than I have found to be true... within my previous research or course, perhaps I am mistaken.All in all it is a good read and definitely gets your mind flowing in a wiccan sort of way. I plan to keep this book, to mark things I am unsure/interested in, and to refer back to it as an easy way to keep my thoughts in one place... essentially I'm going to use it as a sort of premade bullet journal/grimoire.

This book is your guide on your path to discovering more about the path of the Wiccan and how to embrace and practice the rituals, spells, sacred holidays, and more. The world is full of Wiccan people who are all practicing witchcraft every day to support wholeness and wellness in their lives. I purchased that from Amazon and enjoyed it. Thankful!

I bought this book for my daughter who seemed to be starting to be interested in the practice. I read it as well to make sure it was a good intro for a beginner and I was pleased.

I love the fluidity of how things are explains and brought forward within the text of this book. It is important to keep an open mind and an open heart too. I love topics brushed off by this book and I will definitely be delving further into it.

This is the first book I read and I definitely feel that I now have a basic understanding of Wicca!
