Chamber Lube Works as Promised
This is 100% silicone lube, manufacture approved. It's very viscous, so you only need to punture a pin hole in the tip of the tube to apply drops, any larger than a pin hole and it will run out. 1-2 drops down the chamber hole (NOT the barrel) is all you need after every tin of pellets. Small tube but will last years. Bought this for my NP Crosman Crusher and it works great.

Required
Not much to review here really. It's oil, and it's required for the compression chamber of your PCP or Nitro Piston Airgun. And apparently, as per the other reviews, it's either difficult to find, or not sold in stores?Be careful piercing the opening. As other's have stated, it's quite easy to over do it, and have it come gushing out. I used a small pin, and barely pierced it, and it was more than enough to have good flow.Fair warning assuming that your gun is subsonic; those first shots following application will be almost as loud as a .22 rimfire until the oil works its way in and distributes itself. The tube that it comes in is rather small. But since my gun only calls for one drop in the compression chamber per 250 shots, it should last me a good long while. As already mentioned, the shipping cost as much the oil. But since I ordered it yesterday, and got it today in time for the weekend, I can't complain.

Expensive. Warning on storage.
I have nothing bad to say about this oil, it functions as it should but it is pricey for the small amount you get; hence, my rating. Here is a warning though. Make sure the lid is screwed on very tight and store in a vertical position with the tip on top. I had mine sideways and thought the tip was on good enough but months later checking it and found it had leaked all over.

One use and made a horrible mess.
I put two drops in one of my break barrels and put it away. I went to use it again and the tip was cracked and silicone oil had leaked all over the top of my dresser. So not only was it a waste of money because it was a single use but it also had a manufacture defect that popped the top off spilling it everywhere. I buy a lot of crossman gear but this was horrible.

Exploded Through the Back, $8 Wasted
I tried to put some on my Elite Force 1911 and it exploded through the back and went far up in the air so I had to wipe down my room and my hands because it got everywhere. It would not open through the front so I tried getting it unstuck but nothing wouldn't work. I thought maybe I didn't squeeze it hard enough, which lead me to squeeze it to the point where it exploded, which required a light amount of pressure that a 10 year old could do by squeezing it with 2 fingers. Cheaply made tube but overpriced oil.

Essential for good Springer and Gas Piston Air Rifle maintenance
This oil is very important in maintaining the velocity in Air Rifles powered by high torque springs or gas pistons. This is a non petroleum, based oil that will not "diesel" (cause an explosion in the compression chamber). It is recommended that a drop be applied approximately every 1000 rounds. The label is a little misleading as it says "For Spring Air Rifles" but Crosman tells you on their website it is to be used for both Gas Piston and Spring Air Rifles

it does what its suppose to but $9 for .25 oz is pricey
it worked for my bb gun, got the thing shooting again like it was day one out the box but for $9 they should give you like at least a 2oz bottle. The freaking quarter oz you get is enough to oil like 2 guns once or 1 gun twice!

It's oil, but it is very "thin" so be careful
This is oil, but be careful - it's almost as thin as water. When you apply it to your chamber you don't need to squeeze at all, or you will get 2-3 drops out before you can react!

Poorly sealed tube explodes oil when opening plastic covered cardboard packaging.
I am very dissapointed with this product as the tube is improperly sealed when manufactured. When you go to remove the plastic covering and the cardboard backing, the seal ruptures, leaking this expensive oil everywhere. I bought thistube for $9.99 for 7ml. That is $40 an ounce. I have about 2ml left after leak meaning a cost of $150 for an ounce. This is an absolute rip off from the biggest airgun manufacturer in North America. Extremely dissapointing. I will never buy this product again, and would never recommend it to anyone. I would suggest seeking out RWS or Gamo products as I have never had an issue with their packaging, and ml for ml will cost you less, even if your Crosman tube does not leak. Amazon should stop carrying this product until Crosman steps up their game.

Quality product from a quality brand name!
What can I say about this, its a Crossman product!. Their lubricant formulation works better than expected and has helped revive the life of my daughters Daisy BB gun and helps my blow back perform effortlessly. Works fine for other brands too!

A few problems...
While it works as it should and is great for maintenance, it came to me leaking and half-empty. So for the price I'm a little ticked off, but it might not be the product's fault. I just got short-changed this time.

Beware of weak bottom seals!!! Mine was a NFG POS!
After I removed it from the plastic, tempted to twist the top off so I could cut the seal and the bottom blew out all over my shirt and pants! The product itself is great but this particular bottle was poorly put together!
