Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The book is in very bad condition with holes that look like a pencil oeirced the first 20 pages and the cover there is red pen all over the cover and the name tyler written everywhere but amazon said the book was in very good condition when obviously it is not

Best gift! Excellent condition and the perfect size for a 3rd grader to read before bed!

Pretty much exactly what I expected it to be. Stories are short and to the point, and the scary content is relatively age appropriate. The content, I thought, was a bit trite though , seeming to have been written for the soul purpose of scares, and not really displaying any other meaning or import. I also found the grammar to be a bit disappointing, especially for a series targeting children as first novel sized reads, which you'd think would try harder to be examples of the correct usage. All said and done the books are not the worst things I've ever read. In fact they helped me to get into reading on a more serious basis when I was a child, which is pretty important. I'd buy them if you have a 10ish year old child who likes ghost/scary stories, but then be around when they read them so you can interject with the correct grammar.

I bought this book for nostalgic reasons as I bought it in a school book fair when it was first published. The book met my expectations and was in good condition with near perfect pages, however; the book has a mechanism to make it scream when you open the cover and that mechanism was completely obliterated and beyond repair, thusly why I rated 4 stars.

Bought this for the elementary school library where I work. It stays checked out all the time. The kids love it.

speedy delivery, book in good condition, packaging very good, great price. I'm excited to be able to find and purchase this book for our school library. It's exciting to see the kids still reading Goosebumps books.

I purchased this specifically because the quality note stated the scream still worked when you opened the book. It does not work. Pretty upset with the purchase. The cover/spine is also loose.

It was described as good condition and the cover was torn. It should been described as decent. It's stil a good book for my son and he loves it.
