Good Commuter/all-Around Use Option & Lightweight
I wanted to replace my SPD clipless pedals with a pair of flats in order to be able to ride with regular shoes for errands and 'around town' rides. I wanted something light, and with some grip. But I didn't want to deal with metal studs for grip. These pedals appear to be a great compromise. Their weight was actually less than the SPDs they replaced; the amount of grip is good, and they feel plenty tough/sturdy for standing up on the pedals when needed.

Simple, light, easy to install
Can't assess durability yet (only using for a few months) but the studs on the pedal surface grip well with my shoes, the pedals are light & seem durable (good quality nylon), & were very easy to install.

Much better than the metal screw Chester pedals
I bought 2 high end mountain bikes for me and my wife a few years ago and the bike shop only carried Chester pedals. The sales guy told me we’d want the metal screws. I’d always had plastic pedals on cheap bikes up until then. They’re great for staying in the pedals with proper mountain bike shoes, but they eat up normal shoes and destroy shins. I broke my wife’s pedal and replaced them with these and they’re just as good as the Chester pedals but with none of the downsides, I have them on a commuter now and will add them to my mountain bike once the Chester’s wear out.

Great pedals for my road bike
I have other pedals with pins for my mtb and was looking for flats without pins for my road bike. Found these and they offer awesome grip and platform size. Def recommend for anyone looking for flats with metal pins.

Stable Platform
I bought a new urban bike and was unhappy with the original cage pedals. Too small a footprint. Felt like my feet were almost ready to slip off unless positioned perfectly on the pedals. Had to keep micro adjusting my foot position which was a nuisance. Just upgraded to the Raceface Ride and wow what a difference. A much more stable foot platform for my size 11s. I like to wear thin Merrell Trail Gloves for good ground feel and the traction pins grip perfectly. There's also a slight 3mm dish from the tops of the traction pins to the center axel so it cups the ball of your foot nicely for extra comfort and secure feel. Great build quality at a bargain price. Sooo nice!

Generally good.
Out of the box they don’t spin much, which I believe is typical for cheaper pedals, but I’ve been too lazy to take them apart. My real issue is the raised area where the spindle goes through the body, specifically the edges, it pushes against my foot more than the other areas as I pedal - just enough to be mildly annoying.

GREAT grip without the metal screws
Great gripping pedals. Saves a lot of cut shins and calf muscles when you walking the bike or when you come off the pedal with the metal screw pedals. They do have more grip but these are great and work just fine for me even when my shoes are wet.

So far I like it, no more clip in for me

Great, simple, light, robust
I've been riding for ages, since I was a kid, I've never got into the whole clipping in on road bikes so I fit all mine with flat pedals. For a simple black goes with anything pedal this is brilliant, I've taken mine through hills, gravel, mud, dirt, winters, they're still fine. Sure you can spend more, but I can't see me doing - a pedal is a pedal to a degree, so long as the bearings are of good quality, you're pretty much set. These are a nylon / plastic so you won't need new shins if you manage to bash them!
