Excellent quality- worth paying a bit extra for. Have tried other doggy life jackets and they have been rubbish. XXS fits my mini dachshund very well- not an easy dog to fit. Comfortable on her - she's doesn't mind wearing it. Handle on top is very secure as is lead attachment. Haven't had to use in the water yet as still to cold but appears fit for the job and will help to get her back on the boat if she takes the plunge!

Did a lot of research before deciding to buy and this one had the best reviews. It has not disappointed. Bought it to teach my dog how to swim and it really gave him the confidence he needed. Now swims happily with out it but I still use it for the sea or if we are on a boat/kayak as added safety. My dog weighs 30kg and I have had to haul him into a boat using the handle of this jacket, no problem, very strong and well made.

We had a floatation jacket and found out Jack Russell x Staffie still was not happy trying water in it (he needs hydrotherapy for his elbows or we wouldn't pursue this!) - I discovered this jacket and could see it was probably much better for the purpose of dogs swimming rather than if they fell off a boat so took a gamble and bought it. He wore it and for the first time he got in the water and swam without being carried in (unlike his previous floatation coat). I am so pleased and highly recommend this product to anyone with a dog that needs some swim time in their lives. It's very slimline and doesn't restrict our dog at all. You can look up fitting chart for this vet online too and there are a few videos out there of it. Fits as per sizing given. Ordered Saturday arrived (and used!) Sunday!

I bought this undoubtably expensive life jacket for my toy poodle as I wanted something that was comfortable, effective and well made. It doesn't disappoint : dog runs around happily in it, I am reassured that he will float if he falls into the water (off a boat), and it is so well made it’ll last for years. In all, expensive but great value for money!

A great float coat. I wasn't sure whether to purchase the medium or large, but went with the measurements and purchased a medium. It fits very well and looks great! You even can adjust it a little bit. I also like the bright red color - great visibility. Can't wait to try it with our dog when canoeing :-)Delivery was super speedy as well! Thank you!

Very high quality item, very well constructed (might seem expensive to some, but you get what you pay for, quality). I live on the coast so walk my dog along the beach, he's a border terrier (a breed that isn't fond of water), since buying this he is transformed and now swims happily, his body is held higher-up, as is his head and chin. He and I think its a great buy and worth every penny.

Quite a bit more expensive than the competition but you get what you pay for. It’s really tough, secure and buoyant. The others we saw use much less durable material, weren’t nearly as secure and were bulky. This has had a lot of use and isn’t showing any sign of notable wear.

Haven’t used it in the water yet hence the 4 stars as I don’t know yet how it’ll perform, but looks like a sturdy bit of kit for our pooch! Very pleased so far. In terms of fit, the X-Small seems best for our mini schnauzer

This vest is perfect for our 65 lb Goldendoodle for jumping off & swimming around our boat. Easy to put on. And it's well made. Unlike a different vest that cost $38 that the seams tore apart & we had to return. This is sturdy & comfy for our active dog. We are able to lift her with it on by the handles to get her back into our boat. The seams, stitching & fabric all well made to last. Definitely worth spending the money for durability. When I grab it, she runs over so I can put it on her. So it's a good fit, great product. Wish we would've purchased this brand first. But grateful for all the good reviews, so I knew to try this one. We can lift her by the handle. AND has a place to hook her leash . Well made

Replaced our torn Vivaglory vest (<1 yr old) with this, and found the buoyancy to be much better (dog was getting water in his mouth when retrieving toys in lake with the Vivaglory), and this feels much higher quality. We have two now, 55# rather stout Goldendoodle, and 60# slender, athletic Bernedoodle. Slightly easier to put on. Good flexibility on adjustments. But buoyancy and quality are worth it, despite lofty price.

My dog really liked it! The ones I tried on him at the pet store didn't fit right, so I took a chance on this one. He ended up falling in the water during our latest canoe trip and this allowed me to lift him safely into the boat without worry. It kept him afloat, too.

We love this life vest, it’s well made, attractive and fits great. It’s super easy to put on her and to take off. Love the clip closures, so much better than Velcro. It gives her excellent buoyancy and does not channel water down her chest as another one does. I was afraid “extra small” would be to small (11.5lbs) but it’s like it was made for her. Easy to adjust for a perfect fit. All that and it’s adorable.

This lifejacket is of high quality and worth the price. I love the handle on the back of the jacket, so if your dog needs a little help getting out of the water you can use it to lift them up. My dog also doesn’t really like to wear any sort of apparel, but did not seem to mind wearing the lifejacket. We bought a size medium for our golden retriever who is about 80 pounds. It’s better to have it on the snug side just like you would want a human lifejacket to be. Overall this is a great product and I will definitely be buying more ruffwear!!
