With the increased presence of digital devices throughout our world, and the advancement of brighter and stronger LED headlights and streetlights, come many side effects which oftentimes impair vision and create even bigger health problems. Researchers have found that harmful Blue Light emission from smartphones, tablets, computers, and most light sources on the road at night, can cause serious eye damage and even life threatening diseases. What’s more, in low light conditions, such as at night or during storms, the eye is more sensitive and more susceptible to such visual impairments due to higher contrasts of bright and blue lights. Many experience Digital Eye Strain, what is also known as Glare Discomfort or Photophobia. Symptoms of this may include headaches, blurred vision, fatigue, irritated eyes, vertigo or dizziness, sleep disorders, macular degeneration, and even an increased risk of heart diseases, diabetes, depression, and certain types of cancer. While the human eye naturally works to keep out most harmful light, Blue Light within the 460 nm to 1400 nm range bypass the lens and cornea, and are absorbed by the macula, thereby damaging it. Within this hazardous range are light from nearly all digital electronics and most modern headlights and streetlights. For years, field researchers have worked to find a solution to this problem, yet their answers have time and again been either too expensive or too dangerous with their unintended side effects. Night vision goggles cost a fortune, and glasses with strong blue light filters can over-distort vision, making them unsafe for night driving.

A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER!
These night driving glasses REALLY are terrific....and not necessarily only for night driving! I mean, they are profoundly able to reduce glare (even those dreadful blueish headlights!) and permit you to "see" movement you would normally miss battling headlight glare.....especially those cellphone-in-hand distracted pedestrians that pop out between parked cars. But they are also pretty handy during the day. This afternoon it was overcast, you know a sky too dark for my regular sunglasses, but emitting an annoying whiteness. So I reached up and put on my new NIGHT driving glasses, just to see if it would help, and immediately the yellow tint afforded a soothing glare free driving environment.

Wonderful driving glasses
Love these glasses. They really do sharpen images when you put them on. Just don't wear them the sun is brightly shinning. However, in the even and at night they work splendidly. The nose piece is chrome and I could see the reflection on the back side of the lens on the left eye. Contacting the vendor was very easy and they responded almost immediately. They offered a solution and it solved the small problem perfectly. Great people to do business with. Cuts down on headlight glare and still allow you to see details. Not necessarily good for dark back country roads, but busy freeway driving they are wonderful. You will not be sorry you bought these glasses.

Glad I bought them when i did
I have had a problem with glare at night and when it's cloudy for a long time. I bought these before a 14 hour drive in January that I knew would include a lot of night driving. The day we were supposed to leave, my daughter was hospitalized in a place 12 hours from were we were. We left with a few inches of snow on the ground and drove through sleet and rain the whole trip. Much of it through the Appalachian mountains. It was a difficult drive but with these glasses I had no problem seeing what was around me and up ahead. We arrived at midnight. Made sure my daughter got home safely and was OK. Then left there at 5 pm for the 10 hour drive home. Fortunately this trip only had light rain and snow in the mountains.I'm thankful I bought these before this trip. And I recommend them to anyone who has trouble with glare and seeing well at night.

I Consider These A Driving Essential
This is one of those products that exceed expectations and prove once again that one's reading of Amazon Product Reviews is not only the best shopping advice possible, it can save you big dollars. Everyone knows you can easily spend upwards of $150 or more for driving or outdoor glasses. But why do that? I read the reviews on this set of glasses for driving after recently undergoing cataract surgery and I was more than pleased when the glasses arrived.Aside from the included accessories, the glasses themselves are crafted of upscale materials in a design that not only looks great, but is designed to be durable to last years given only a bit of care. The temples or side are soft-touch and securely attached to the front frame. The nose pieces are quality and super comfortable. And finally, the lenses seem robust and when used cast a light yellow color to reflected sunlight in the day and hard, white pinpoints of light at night. They are perfect driving glasses that really do help you see more clearly at night especially during rainfall. And if you have to wear them for long hours, the comfort factor for these minimally priced glasses will have you recommending them just as I have here. The price speaks for itself. These are truly well made and highly functional, stylish driving glasses that will grow on you!

Bought this for my wife after cataract surgery because headlight glare made it difficult to drive at night. She is very happy with the glasses because it improved her vision at night. I recommend the Blupond Night Driving glasses to reduce headlight glare and improved seeing at night.

A little rough around the edges, but they are good night driving glasses for me. Absolutely improved my safety on the road.
Night driving has become a real problem for me. I decided to take a go at some night-driving glasses. My problem is I get pretty severe eye fatigue, so bad one of my eyes tries to close - dangerous especially considering the rough weather we have. These babies really did the trick. Be advised, they appear to be polycarbonate, but the frame has some rough/sharp spots on them, and the rubber is not really all that comfortable for long drives. They could be better. That being said, they were definitely a life saver - been night driving with them, drove through an absolute blizzard that was so dark outside it was pitch dark at 3PM with blinding snow. These babies kept my eyes in good shape.

Review Update - better than I initially thought
I have to give this a 3 right now because I don't believe it is polarized. I don't get any change in the image when I rotate a known polarized lens in front of me while wearing the glasses.I have used this on overcast days and while walking the dog at dusk. The glasses appears to sharpen contrast and also lightens up the view. Have not tried this yet at night to see what it does with headlight and streetlight glare.Updated Review:The glasses appear to be polarized but only slightly. Have used it now on cloudy days, dawn, dusk, heavy rainfall and at night. Except for the night time drive, the glasses made everything brighter and sharper. My wife used it one foggy morning and was impressed by the added clarity of the view (she was able to wear it over her eyeglasses which is a plus). The missing star is for night time driving. There is only a slight difference in brightness and clarity. It does tend to cut down some glare from oncoming headlights and streetlights. The slight improvement in night viewing might be somewhat helpful but I will have to wear it for a longer period to see if it makes a difference.
