How long is the cable?

I installed it in my short bed F100 and it had plenty of slack to route it outside the frame rail if wanted. But it is 82" long per the mfr website.

will this work on a 1971 Ford f100 4 speed manual tranny 360 V8 engine?

Sorry i don't know. I used it on a 3 speed automatic fit ok but a little long thou.
