Trip the lights fandango
In 1992, this was before the influx of cheap booze ruined nights out on Cardiff's St. Mary's street, I was walking home about 2am from a disco, when a guy stopped me. He wanted to get into the club before it closed, but had shorts, just like these. The dress code was smart trousers,. I was wearing some. He literally begged me to swap. Naturally I refused, but my friends from college were in hysterics at the guy's audacity. Imagine , as I get older, the amusement of seeing shorts on Amazon in the same pattern. We're having a college reunion next week, so I bought a pair. They fitted perfectly, they look funky, original, so I'm going to wear them to our reunion disco. Love these shorts, very well made with nice fabric, no messy seams inside, all properly overlocked finish.Feel very comfortable to wear and they look good on, couple of decent depth side pockets and one rear, elasticated waist with drawer cord . Followed the sizing guide on the web page which gave me accurate size which fit perfectly.Well pleased.
