Expensive and not very flavorful
Not impressed one bit. Go to your local Spanish supermarket, especially at Christmas time an get a package of Turón called Marsapan,you'll be way ahead of the game and saved considerable money.

The icing was a little weird (for me), but the almond paste was wonderful.

Slightly disappointed in this brand of Calissons.
I love Calissons and developed quite an addiction to them while living in Provence. I usually buy Rene Roy but thought I'd try these. Not thrilled as it was no where the flavor or freshness that I've had with Rene Roy.

I really like these as they are just as good as the Roy Rene ones. The packaging is also pretty and it has that vintage appeal that I appreciated, best of all the mild flavor and soft chewy texture is heavenly. Highly recommended and will buy it again!
