OMG... This Magnetic Embroidery Hoop is amazing...
I purchased this hoop off of someone's recommendation! Let me tell you, I was truly amazed at how much easier it is to hoop projects now! It took a bit getting used to because it doesn't have center markings on the hoop itself however, the included plastic guide has center points and that is all you need! Placing the hoop on the machine is so much easier than the plastic hoop! In most cases, I don't have to raise the presser foot to put it on or take it off the machine! The magnets are super strong and I have to be careful when clipping jump stitches during a project! The scissors tend to sticks to the magnets...lol!I can't wait until the 5"X12" hoop is available for my Brother SE1900! My only suggestion would be to offer a magnetic frame/bar for the 5"X12" instead of the individual magnets! I would even like a magnetic frame/bar for the 5X7 hoop as well!

Awesome!
Anyone who uses the embroidery frames that come with the machines know that they can be murder on you hands. Whoever came up with this magnet & frame idea are fricken geniuses! This makes framing your work a cinch! I ordered 4 extra magnets, and thrust me, that material ain't going nowhere!

Magnetic
The magnet 5x7 hoop is really good. The only problem I have is that it doesn't have a frame to go over the frame that hooks on to your machine. That is the only change I would make is to add a plastic frame that goes over the metal part that is held in place by the magnets. Those things are strong. Any way it is very good and will hold a whale to the wall.

Fits Innovis 750E well!
Quality hoop and magnets. Delivers as promised tho on pricey side. But I love magnetic hoops so no regrets. However the manual included doesn’t seem to correlate to the hoop in some aspects. Eg the manual speaks ‘raised markings’ on the hoop indicating center of hoop but my hoop has no such markings. Fully smooth. And manual also speaks of the grid template having inch n cm measurements but the grid u got only has inch measurements. Did the product change n manual didn’t? Confused. But not a huge thing. Stil fits perfectly in my Innovis 750E and instead of the 4 magnets stated in manual I got 6 so I am happy as that is more valuable than raised markings/ cm measurements lol. Stil overall happy. ◡̈

Best Purchase Ever!
I absolutely love this product. It makes machine embroidering so much easier. I always hated hooping. Now, it is so easy and works perfectly.

poorly designed
Pros:*easy to hoop*some reviews complained about the lack of a metal X/Y arm fastening plate, and mine had one so I guess they improved the designCons:*Too easy to shift fabric: Take it out of your machine to cut jump stitches and bump a table or drop it, and your project is ruined unless you recenter it perfectly.*Magnets too tall/hoop too small: Because the magnets are so tall, you'll have to constantly re-adjust them when sewing along the right side of the hoop. They're so tall that they knock against your needle screw, loosening it, then your needle flies out and gets stuck to one. You can't move them further to the right side either because the hoop isn't wide enough.*Not enough grip/coverage: I had to buy 4 additional magnets and was still seeing a good amount of pull between them. I was only embroidering some thin fabric and stabilizer. I can't imagine having success with anything thicker. Why isn't this a magnetic sandwich plate? Might drive the price up, but I'd rather pay more for something that works well. Conclusion:I only make patches, so they're very simple projects compared to what some people make, and this doesn't work for me. I can't recommend this to anyone because of design issues.
