I bought this for my husband for his Glock 42 and he found it to be near perfect and as we all know the perfect holster doesn't exist but it is close. The fit for the 42 is perfect and the lock and release feature is very reliable. He says it is comfortable in all conditions including driving. He cant believe the price is so reasonable.The instruction sheet that comes with it could be better to only address just this one related to the 42.He certainly would recommend giving it a try.

The holster is the same size I would use for my subcompact model 27. The model 42 does fit into the holster and will not fall out but the actual size of the holster is much larger than it needs to be to accommodate the model 42. See the attached photo of a side by side comparison of my current holster and the CYTAV holster. That said, it makes concealed carry a very difficult option. The quality looks good and certainly would be fine in most applications.

Impossible to beat this holster for the price and quality. As a former police officer, this holster fits the bill for safely keeping your semi auto on your belt. Your semi auto will not fall out by accident and prevents anyone from taking it from the holster. It is very lite and comfortable to wear! It should cost more because it is well worth it!
