It will help encourage me to continue my real reviews of products I've purchased.Likes: *The manufacture put simple backpack picture and 30L stencil on outer flap to storage pocket. Helps me organize my Packables/Foldable backpacks as I have way more than one *Price is king, but this backpack also is well stitched and has a good design. *Plenty of pockets and I've even learned to like the vertical access to the small outer top pocket * I'm not sure if this is a 30L backpack as it is close to the same size as my 40L packable backpack. I only know this buy eyeballing but suspect that this backpack has more than it claims. * The chest strap is fully adjustable and the clip has a nice little emergency whistle that I hope I never have to use. I did test it though and it is loud enough. *I've taken this to the grocery store packed over 20 LBS of groceries in this pack and made it home comfortably.Dislikes: *You have to be careful with double zipper to run zipper to the side bottom on one side or the other to prevent opening while you are walking fully loaded. If your zipper is at the bottom it is harder to open on its own. I have lost groceries in the past from resting the zippers closed at top on this type of bag and now do that for all my backpacks that have double zippers.Yes I'd buy this again as a gift for others and even for myself for extras.Thank you for reading my review:Again Please give this review a thumbs up. First of all, the packing box was terrible and very difficult to open. It had a supposed pull tab that didn't work and I had to open it with a box cutter which left little room for error since the box was shallow.As for the backpack, it is very flimsy and I doubt it will make it through one trip without a seam or two and/or zipper breaking. Extremely disappointing poor quality. Will return

I was taking a Naturalist Masters course and we did a lot of hiking. I am 70 years old so every ounce of weight on my back is crucial. This is really light weight.There are so many zippered pockets I can easily divide my hiking necessities with my classroom necessities. I haven't tried to see if it was waterproof though.

I loved this bag it is lightweight , comfortable and I travelled round Cuba with it. I really loaded this bag and for the price it is a excellent buy. I love the fact I can store it easily and it is fully waterproof with enough pockets to separate items.

This is so amazing I’m so glad I got it. It folds up so easily and small and easy to open plus it is the same size as a normal backpack! The straps are so comfortable I was surprised by the quality, the zippers are also very well made.Great gift idea for people who travel, shop, or just need an extra bag

I haven't used this yet but it seems like it will be perfect. it's not too big and it's lightweight. Side pockets are large enough to hold not just water bottles, but also our reusable water bottles that are fairly large.

Just returned from a weeklong trip to NYC and used pack as carry on and daypack. Great capacity. Deep pockets for water bottles. Chest buckle keeps straps in very comfortable position.. zippers work well. Front vertical zipper did not "leak" items out as feared...quite the opposite. Overall, GREAT BUY!! I will order more for Christmas presents.

The backpack was very lightly made, it packed away into itself very nicely. The very fabric is very thin, but seems like it would be good for a quick hike. I wasn't aware it had a whistle in the clip on the chest strap.
