Great read - 90 minutes of pure value!
Well written and easy to digest. Read this book over 2 flights. The lessons are spot on and reminded me of the patterns of my past good and bad leaders. More importantly it shaped my view of my personal areas of improvement

What is YOUR motive for leading others?
The reasons behind peoples' motivation for obtaining a position in leadership are two fold; you see it as a reward to yourself, or you see it as a privilege to serve others. We may flow in and out of these motivations but it comes down to your ultimate motive for why you are striving for a leadership role.In Patrick Lencioni's latest book The Motive, he delivers a concentrated version of how those two motives look in action, what the results of a reward mentality look like, and what we can do to make sure we are in it for the right reasons.Lencioni is one of my most favorite authorities on organizational health. He has introduced me to some fantastic perspectives that have helped me to identify dysfunctions of a team as well as the qualities that identify the ideal team player. This was a very quick read, but had a lot of substance! Read it and do some introspective work to find out if your ideals are lining up with your efforts...or lack thereof.

Great Book to Flow through
Just got the book, and honestly already finished it almost 3 hours later. Feels like you’re part of the conversation take place and not like you’re reading a book.Lots of good lessons to take away from the book itself

Every Leader needs to read this and decide who they are
I have only read 2/3's of the book, but I am past the parable and into the meat of the education / philosophy that is at the end of the book and I can't contain my emotional response of anger, validation and even bitterness at the spate of awful leaders who don't understand the punchline of this book. I just put in my notice at a company I have worked at for 15 years and I am leaving because of my management and the many years of failing. I am blessed to have gotten a new job, in leadership and I pray I learn this lesson (and many others) well. I don't think words alone are sufficient to express how powerful the lesson of this book is for those aspiring to be a leader or who are already a leader and are struggling.

I think it was a great book for me as in becoming entrepreneur
I heard about this book on Alex Hormozi instagram, and he said it took him 90 minutes to read it, for me it took much longer, hours but because I’m not used to many words and phrases used in this book. (kindle is great because with highlight text you see the meaning)But at least I read it in one day and night.1. I learned that if you want to succeed you need to like what you’re doing and correct your mistakes and the others around you.2. I also learned that you can perform best if you constantly improve yourself and the others around you, and that is okay to be transparent - yes honesty might be uncomfortable in the moment but, its healthy for everyone on the long run3. And the last thing I learned is to be selfless and responsible, to achieve greatness.

Patric Lencioni dice que es el primero que debes leer
La simplicidad con la que explica lo que debe ser un buen líder puede ayudar a cualquiera a entender su rol, sin importar si es o no el CEO de la compañía.
