-liked: simplicity—side access = tank bag; middle compartment is for clothes on the trip. Keep it light because it’s on the trunk. Never overload.-disliked: their securement system sucks. I bought Rok-Straps for the luggage rack so another $15 on top…and the cover is iffy in rain. And the hook vs clip isn’t awesome for securing the lid. It’s plenty secure but a PITA vs traditional clips.It’s a quasi duffel bag for a cruiser. But well made, and for $25 I will turn it into a 15 year purchase.

I bought and used this bag on a trip. As soon as I got the bag, I took it out to my motorcycle to test fit it on my rack. There are no instructions for the straps. I tried several ways to attach the bag to the rack and every way was a failure. Gave up after 45 minutes. Went on the Amazon and ordered a pair of Roc Straps. Roc Straps arrived and with in 5 minutes had the bag secured to my rack. Had absolutely no problems on my trip and rode with total confidence that the bag would not move or come off. Kuryakyn needs to either include better instructions, or rethink their strap system because it is bad. The bag is top notch in my humble opinion.

It was delivered in a timely fashion, but was missing the rain cover. I contacted the Kuryakin people and, sadly, since it was an “as-is” purchase, they couldn’t send me a replacement cover. So, I ordered one and upon receiving it (luggage total was still less than retail) tried it out and it fit perfectly. When I was removing it, I noticed a zipper hidden below the large Velcro seat straps. I opened it and there it was! The original rain cover that came with the luggage piece!! After I calmed down, I realized I could have sent it back, for a refund on the new rain cover, but I wanted it to cover another piece of luggage I have. Win-Win! Thanks, Kuryakin people! They were very helpful.

This is a great bag for my purposes. Fits perfectly on the passenger seat of my Spyder F3-S and the straps make it very secure. Can't wait to take more overnight trips on my bike with this bag!
