These steps were perfect for stepping down onto the houseboat. They’re very sturdy and covered with non-slip material. Fairly easy to put together.The one thing that I wish came with them were lock washers. It only comes with nuts and bolts, and then they tell you to check them regularly. I bought lock washers and it feels much more secure. The only other thing is that the handrail is only held on by one bolt on each leg, so it’s not as secure as it could be. I put some additional zip ties on each leg and the rail wobbles much less.Note that these are not steps that you’d constantly be moving. It would be a pain to constantly be attaching and detaching the braces.Despite those, still highly recommended

I bought these stairs for my chalet a frame camper to make it easier for my senior mother to get in and out of after I changed my tires, it raised the camper a few inches. The door to the camper just barely clears the top of the stairs. The stairs are sturdy, no give and I’m 250lbs. The handle is nice and can be easily changed to either side. The stairs surface is abrasive so no slipping. The assembly was fast and easy it took five mins. The steps are shipped folded, you just push them up and swing the bracket over to line up with the hole, and use the bolt and nut, A wing nut would make this faster. I plan on taking these steps with me while camping. The stairs are a little heavy to lift or move.

These steps are sturdy with non skid already on them. They have a landing at the top that is large enough to turn around on if needed. They can be used with a cane with ease. You can easily change the hand rail from side to side depending on your set up. We got them for an RV rental that has 12 inch steps (terrible on bad knees!) and it made a huge difference in accessibility for everyone. The steps are about 7 inch rises and the top is 20 inches. We just shoved it up next to the door, moved the hand rail to the other side and were set for the week. Everyone could get in and out of the RV with no trouble or risk of tearing a tendon. We used these for a Class C. Our friends are using them for their trailer. They should work with any RV that needs these kind of steps and has clear space in front of the door. These are a bit heavy - about 50 lbs - and durable with a thick paint and look and feel like they are built to last a long time. The manufacturer (they have a website) has been supplying steps for mobile units that are used in movie sets for many years. They are made in USA and we are very happy with this product. Any RV we rent or, when we are ready to buy we will plan to use these steps. They even made it easy for the dogs to go in and out easily. The small company we rent RVs from liked them so much he bought some to rent in addition to the rv's. Most RV's these can fit sideways in the door as long as the hand rail is removed. Put a blanket or padding around them so they don't scratch interior.

I had ordered these as a substitute for $1,300 steps for my swimspa. Other reviews found these steps to be solid and work well for a multitude of purposes. My original order was deemed undeliverable by UPS - so after reaching out to Amazon, they started a chain of communication with the company. They were kind enough to send me out a replacement super quickly while waiting for the original to be sent back to them. Well - the day the replacement came so did the original order! I contacted the company and informed them of the error with UPS and they sent me a return label and even awarded my honesty by giving me a small refund.I’m sure these steps will be a great way to get in and out of our new swimspa!

These are well built quality steps that were easily assembled. I only gave them four stars however becouse the top platform is really to low for my 2017 fifth wheel and the handrail should be mounted with more than two bolts for safety. I overcame these shortcomings by building a wood platform with an additional step that raised the the steps by three inches so the step from the RV floor to the platform is only eleven inches rather than the original fourteen. I zip tied the handrail to the handrail that is attached to the RV which made it much more sturdy. This will make them a little more difficult to take down and haul when I leave to my next volunteer host assignment but the safety is worth the inconvenience.

This product is exactly what we expected after having read all the reviews. It provides a lot of additional stability and makes entering and exiting our travel trailer much safer then the standard factory steps. Makes loading and unloading the trailer a breeze and provides additional stability when entering and exiting even with hands full.I initially purchased this because will be going camping with my elderly mother but has proven a really solid choice for my husband and our two small children. It’s big and heavy hence the sturdiness but we have to put it in the back of our truck fully assembled to take it with us camping.

Not happy with price, It is expensive however it is pretty solid, stable and reliable. Steps are well designed and very easy to assemble, I put it on dirt surface as ground and its design and weight make it stable even the ground surface wasn’t very flat

Using this in place of our built in RV steps to give more step out platform and safer stairs width. What we found frustrating is at least 5 holes where cross supports were to be screwed into the steps were totally out of alignment. In order to actually get the cross supports in place, we had to drill new holes into the step frames. Once done doing that the frame of the steps were secure and we could use them. Figured it wasn’t worth sending the entire product back for 5 misaligned holes. But you’d think the manufacturer would double check to make sure cross member supports and screw holes would line up. Would have given them a much higher rating if we hadn’t had to deal with shoddy craftsmanship because the stairs are fantastic looking and now very sturdy thanks to a little self help.

These stairs are a lifesaver! Sturdy and very safe. My husband loves that he just has to take the handrail off and turn them on their side and he can slip them through the door when we are not camping. We did buy a cable lock to secure them to the existing trailer steps just in case someone else liked them a little too much and walked off with them, like what happened to one of the other reviewers.

It did what I bought it for, good strong unit, vary happy with it.
