Miele Blizzard CX1 HomeCare Bagless Canister Vacuum, Autumn Red

We replaced a Dyson bagless canister vac with the Miele Blizzard CX1. Our friends had one and we were in need of a new canister vacuum! After trying theirs, we were sold!I feel like it’s an upgrade from our old one. The suction is amazing on wood and carpet. We are pet owners so the “Blizzary CX1” really suits our needs. It’s quieter than I thought it would be and I really love having the “headlight” feature for our dark hardwood floors. Miele gets my business moving forward!

My husband purchased this for me because our old vacuum had finally bitten the dust. I am cheap and would never have spent this much on a vacuum, however this is the best thing my husband has ever purchased. The suction power is fabulous. I have 3 dogs that shed and wood floors. The power head attachment worked perfectly on floors and picked the dog hair up so effortlessly. Fabulous product!!

I had an Elecrolux vacuum for 20 years. I loved it because it worked so well cleaning pet hair and dander out of my carpet. I didn't think I would find a replacement that would work as well. I'm happy to say I did with my new Miele.

I bought the Miele Blizzard CX1 HomeCare Bagless November 2019 to replace a Dyson canister vac I'd had for 15 year. I was amazed at how quiet it is and the SEB-236 Powerhead pulled out carpet dust and pet hair missed by the Dyson. The Parquet Twister XL did fail to meet my expectations. It was difficult to maneuver under low furniture and was lacking in suction: After a few weeks I replaced it with the smaller Parquet Twister and was much more pleased with the performance: Though it too is challenging to clean under furniture. I did have some issues with working on the stairs as the canister is a bit large: In fact it did tip over and the suction hose connector where it attaches to the canister did easily break but still functions. I have yet to work on finding a replacement part and hope it is easy to order and replace myself since I am hours away from the nearest dealer. Overall a stupendous and solid performing vacuum...just buy the smaller Parquet Twister if you have a lot of hardwood or laminate flooring; you will be much happier.

1st one I had the electrobrush stopped working. Got a replacement pretty fast but the electrobrush will not lock into place so I have to make sure I lean it up against something so it doesn't fall to the floor. I had to pay UPS to pick the first one up so I guess I will have to live with the second one. I'm on a fixed income and also can't keep hauling boxes up and down stairs. For being German made it's sad to see the cheap workmanship.

I consider this a top of the line purchase from Miele for consumer use, considering its price ($1,148.00) and was expecting excellent suction power. Unfortunately the suction, even on max power, leaves a lot to be desired. And for that reason I am giving it 3 stars at best. It is Miele so I am hoping it will last a while. Mine came with an electrobrush or whatever that thing is called (for carpets) and another slip-on thing for wood floors. I honestly wish the suction power was a lot better than it is. Mine is out of return window so I cannot return it, otherwise I can tell you honestly I was disappointed to experience the suction power on max power.

Great quality product. Quiet for a vacuum. Everything top build except knob for adjusting pressure. Bean counter got his two cents in. Most tools you need hearing protection including vacuum cleaners. Thankfully, this product does not.

Stopped after using it one time. Seller said return had expired—-bought June 26 today August 13. Will phone Amazon! Outraged $1,000
