Gorgeous, High Quality Quilt
This is a gorgeous quilt! The quality is superb! It IS NOT a bedspread though and will not cover your pillows, folks. It is meant to be used with a bedskirt. The quilt top only goes up to the edge of the mattress with no overlap for a pillow. I bought one for a twin bed in my Granddaughter's bedroom at our home, when she does a sleepover. Purchased a standard sham to go with it. I measured and bought for a twin size and it fit perfectly. Now, the master and guest bedrooms have four poster beds and are very high so quilt selection there would mean something "oversized". The color are burgundy, pinkish mauve, sage and dark green on an ivory background. The trapunto work on the quilt is just beautiful! My Granddaughter loves the quilt! Her Grandpa just finished painting her room today. He used Glidden brand paint, bought at Home Depot, called," Manatee Grey ". It is a very nice shade of sage green that matches the green in the quilt. And again; our Granddaughter was very pleased with the color choice. We are finally into more grownup rooms with our Grands now and this quilt won't need to be replaced anytime soon,as it is beautiful and ageless!

Shopping has been like Goldilocks in 'The Three Bears'
It's bothersome to rate this Nostalgia Home 'Tatum' with only three stars, but it is misrepresented size-wise in the photo. I purchased a full/queen (90"x94") & the quilt is accurate to those dimensions. However, it does not fit a queen-size size bed (with a standard depth mattress/box springs), as shown. Measuring from the outside edge of the embroidery, the length is 15-16", which drops below the mattress but does not cover the box springs or bed rail. Even with a dust ruffle covering the box springs, the quilt's drop is out of proportion to the bed. The quilt also is too short to reach the head of the mattress, much less cover pillows. Because 'Tatum' is of such good quality, I checked the quilt for use on our full-size guest bed (too small) and a twin bed (too large, but not by much). The 'Tatum' quilt, however, is beautiful and well-made. The fabric (ivory/off-white) is of very good quality. Quilting, including the trapunto (stuffed) accents, and the embroidery (burgundy, hints of dark pink, & muted greens) are exceptional for a machine-made product. With this experience, I now know that our current queen-size quilt (which covers the pillows & drops just below the bed rail & over a dust ruffle) measures 102"x114". I considered exchanging the queen-size for a king, but now see that the dimensions of 'Tatum' still would be too short for our needs.Summary: My advice to other consumers is to measure for your needs & purchase only an item with stated dimensions that suit those needs. A description of full, queen, or king "size" can vary drastically from one product to another. Also, it would be helpful if manufacturers/Amazon/other purchasers would fully describe the colors in such items. Photos are too often misleading, even if viewed/compared on different devices.'Tatum' is a lovely quilt and should have rated five stars, but, in my home, could serve only as a folded accent at the foot of a bed. Sadly, I will have to return this quilt & consider a different design with the right dimensions, until I can find one that is "just right."

The embroidery is beautiful and all the quilting work makes it a conversation ...
The quilt is very well made and is made from the same heave cotton fabric as the shams. The embroidery is beautiful and all the quilting work makes it a conversation piece! The pattern is simple but elegant and brightens the room.
