Don't get sucked in by all the positive "reviews"
Unlike seemingly many of the other reviews on this product, I REALLY purchased it and REALLY used it.If you do some digging (which I did after the fact, unfortunately) too many other "reviewers" have only written about this and nothing else; or this and another product by the same company; or this and...the exact same selfie stick? Whatever. It's clear the Amazon review process needs some serious work.Having said that, this product didn't work for me. Yes, it opened up my nasal passages on the intake, but breathing out seems to be more difficult, which lead to even WORSE snoring (according to my wife, who, like me, had such high hopes) and negated the whole purpose of the product. Also, it made the inside of my nose sore the next morning.Oh well. Back to the anti-snoring drawing board...

Changes the quality of sleep to much better!
Have you ever woken up after a full night sleep feeling dehydrated and like you didn't actually rest? It really sucks to start your day like this. Put this thing up your nose before you go to sleep. Better yet, put some petroleum jelly on the inside of your nose - it will help for the snot to not stick to the nose, and run down instead. It makes a huge difference - it keeps your nose open wide enough so you don't start breathing with your mouth, leading to dehydration. It also makes you get enough oxygen, so you actually rest, and not feel oxygen deprived. Not sure it will help? Stretch your nostrils out, and try to breathe. If you think "man, I wish I would breathe like that all the time!", then get this thing. Your quality of sleep will be changed tremendously, just for a few dollars.

Better seek medical attention first...
Always, ALWAYS, seek medical attention first...This was my attempt at solving a problem without a proper medical attention, in order to hopefully save some money. BAD IDEA.There are no instructions on how you should wear this. Probably because it's supposed to be straightforward... I know... but the thing is, there is a hook or something that I assume helps keep them in place, but it isn't clear whether they should point towards you or away from you. Yes, I know, there are only two possible ways you can wear these and it's probably why they didn't include instructions. Regardless, no matter how fool proof an item may be, I think it's more professional for a company to include a user manual and any relevant documentation. This is just my opinion.I didn't buy these to stop snoring, I bought them to be able to better breathe at night. They didn't work for me. Not because of the lack of instructions, but because I actually need to seek medical attention. My nasal passages are chronically swollen, which means that 24x7, one of them is more than halfway blocked impairs my breathing. As soon as I tried these on, I had a sever allergic reaction that had me sneezing like a maniac and my nose running like the Niagara Falls. I tried really hard to get used to them, but the discomfort was too great to keep them for more than a couple minutes.SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION FIRST.

Almost 4 stars
I use a CPAP machine and need to be able to breathe thru my nose for it to do it's job. These do help and I have used them successfully many nights. The only problem is the fit. One seems just a little too big but after you are asleep it's not a problem. Another one is just a little too small but does it's job as well. The third included size is way too big. Someone else said they cut off a little bit of the end and got a better fit and I think i will try that and give it another go. If so, I'd probably give these little nasal tubes another star!

Works good but a little uncomfortable.
It took me years to figure out why I don't sleep well. What have found, was my sinuses were the root of the problem of poor sleep. If you can breath through you nose well, you will sleep well. For the past decade, my sinuses have been giving me issues and are sensitive to pollen, dry heated air in the winter, and smoggy air. When they get blocked which makes it difficult to breathe through and in turn I get poor sleep. I have been using a NeilMed sinus flush for past few years and it is very helpful, but doesn't solve all the problems. Decongestants, steroids, and antihistamines don't seem to help me much. The Silent Angel nasal dilator seems pretty good. They are a little uncomfortable at first but do indeed help open up your nasal passages. I have been getting better sleep which is really nice. Before, I would toss and turn while sleeping and wake up with a really dry mouth because I was breathing through it. Now, sleeping through the night and only breathing through my nose while sleeping which is excellent. I still might try a few other types to see if are some that are more comfortable. There was some small tabs that are supposed to hold them in, but I cut them off because it made them more uncomfortable. It comes in four different sizes which is good to find what best works for you.

Great for allergie sufferers but not for snoring
Did not help at all, it actually makes his snoring worse, but they do have a use, I found that they work good for opening your nasel passeges from allergies, so I can breathe comfortably when seeping they would get 5 stars for assisting breathing due to swollen nasil cavity, and comfort. And the assorted size options included. They need to re-bran for allergies

and seeing my girlfriend happy, I'm a believer and have worn them every ...
These actually reduced my snoring, although I am told I still snore mildly in certain positions. Initially I was skeptical, but after I waking up the first morning having worn them all night, and seeing my girlfriend happy, I'm a believer and have worn them every night since they arrived. Also, I feel like these greatly improve my breathing; I sleep better and seem to have more energy when I wake up. I found that dabbing a little Vaseline at the entrance of each nostril prior to inserting greatly increases comfort. Every morning after taking them out I wash them in a little hand soap and warm water and let them air dry and have had no problems. I'm a little curious as to how long they will hold together as the plastic loop holding each insert together seems flimsy.
