My daughter loved it and I saved money but not buying the lounge fly edition of a similar backpack

I purchased this BackPack for my 9year old GrandDaughter in the beginning of December 2019 so it could be a Christmas Present. She did not receive it until then and did not use it until the school year started the 2nd week of January. Last week we noticed the top of one of the straps is coming apart. She does not put much in the BackPack. just a small notebook and a few paper from homework. No heavy weight. Contacted the suppliers, Amazon & the Person who sold it and nobody wants to take responsibility and replace the item. Very Disappointed and my Grand Daughter is more upset.
