66ft/20m 720 LEDs Rope Lights, Cool White Rope Light Outside, Waterproof Rope Lighting for Indoor Outdoor, Plug in Flexible Connectable Decor Lights for Garden, Patio, Pool, Bedroom (6000K)

I bought these lights for the novel use of providing safe lighting for the cages of my Serama miniature chickens. They are super bright and really brighten things up for the birds. I threaded them into the cages and put them on an automatic timer to come on in the morning and turn off at night. The light rope is thick and study and poses no risk to the birds. Then I wrapped it around the barn partition to provide extra barn lighting. As you can see by my last picture, these lights are considerably brighter than the rope light I bought last year. Im so happy i bought a second package of them.

This is the second attempt to get the right string of lights. The first ones were bluish-green ultra white. We had to take them down ... it was like sitting in a police interrogation room. The electricians just finished installing these new "warm white 3000K" lights. Now it looks like a carnival side show. Bright Yellow. See the attached pictures. The first one is the box they came. The second picture is how the room looks after the electricians finished installing the vaulted ceiling lights. Obviously the LED manufacturers still do not have a handle on light colors and intensity.

We used these around the top of a screened-in porch for some softer lighting than the ceiling lights provide. These lights are a bright white light and put off more light than we expected, but we like the result. They say they can be cut down in length but we haven’t done that at this point so I am not sure if that negatively impacts them or not.The only downside on these is that the chord is pretty long b fire the lights even start, so I had to wind it up and figure out a way to keep that up and out of the way. If you need the length then this could be a pro but for me, I have an outlet right where I want the light to start so it is a con.

I love these lights. Bought one strand to string around the inside of a 10x10' canopy for camping. I had enough length to run around the inside edge and up and over one of the middle braces with extra length to spare. They lit up the area under the canopy very well. The lights were even bright enough for reading. I didn't bother using my propane or LED lanterns. I didn't need them. We had a pretty good driving rain one afternoon and the outside got wet but no water entered the tubing.

I bought these for outdoor use. When I received them, the instructions state that the plug should be "waterproofed" and that it should be checked regularly to make sure water doesn't get in. This is my first time buying rope lighting, but to me, that is not outdoor. Outdoor lights and plugs can get wet in my experience. Item returned.

The light itself is amazing. It puts off enough light to make my back porch comfortable in pitch black. However the included clips are brittle garbage. Most of them broke as I was installing the light. No matter how careful I would be most just snapped the little arms off. Luckily I did not need that many to keep it looking good.

Added a loft In my garden shed. The shop lights were to big and would hang to low. Would be a head hazard. The lights are small and bright. I was able to wrap them above and below the loft.

There were plenty of cable ties and mounting clips to fasten the roping to most any shape. The clear brilliant light made for a beautiful Christmas Star to hang in one of my trees. The cut points were well marked on the roping so I could trim back the excess roping and not have to make a redundant return on the star. The roping arrived very promptly so I could rewire the star frame and have it up for Christmas Eve.
