DUC DE VERVINS by Houbigant For men EDT SPRAY 4 OZ

This was a bust… save your money or shop elsewhere.I have bought this previously, and wished to return to Amazon but did not do so in time. I mean, it’s cologne what can go wrong? It was a birthday present, bought earlier/opened later. When we opened it we noticed a few things: the box looked different, silver accents versus gold. We opened, and we met with golf flaking accents on the bottle, and a flaking gold lid. The fragrance is “off” as well. I cannot share how disappointing, and offputting this is.

Smells decent, but way overpriced.

Best smelling men’s cologne that I’ve ever smelled. A man at a funeral was wearing this, women were telling everyone to go up and hug him. I think a lot of us ordered it for our men.

I have been using DV for 15 years and had always bought from Nordstrom. I bought DV from this vendor on Amazon on the last go around and the cologne was the same as what I had bought from Nordstrom. However, this time the cologne was off. It's hard to describe but the only thing that I can say the cologne smelled of more alcohol or something. But to a 15 year user, it is not the same.

I have used this scent for years. It’s a classic for me.

I'm 37 years old, but look like I'm younger. I bought it because I thought it smelled good, but once I put it on, my mom, sisters an the girl im dating told me it smells like Old Man. Perhaps this is more for older women to enjoy. I'm not sure, but the moment I tried another cologne like D&G Light Blue Living Stromboli or other D&G colognes at the Macy's booth, the girls said "Now this smells good" and I've gotten lots of compliments on those. I have not received one compliment on th Duc De Vervins. Maybe I should go test this is 50+ country club setting or at a retirement home. I may get more compliments.To be fair, I thought it smelled real good, but apparently it drives away the younger (less than 55 years old) girls. Who knows?

I have used this fragrance for many years. First introduced to the fragrance at Nordstrom.

Parece que tiene un exceso de alcohol. El tapón es muy plastiquero. La compré porque leí que se parecía a otra de otra marca que han descatalogado. En principio sí que algo se parece y eso ya me compensa. Así que la seguiré comprando.

Der bestellte DUC DE VERVINS ist zügig zugeschickt worden. Nachdem ich die Verpackung und dann auch die Flasche geöffnet und ausprobiert hatte, mußte ich allerdings feststellen, dass es sich mutmaßlich um ein nachgeahmtes Produkt handelt.Dem seit Jahren gewohnten DUC DE VERVINS EDT-Duft hielt der Flascheninhalt in keiner Weise stand. Dem Duft haftete allenfalls eine kläglichen Restnote des gewohnten Geruchs an. Bei näherer Überprüfung der Flasche bzw. des am Flaschen-Boden befindlichen Aufklebers zeigte sich im Vergleich zum bisher gewohnten Original "Made In France" und "Loft Monaco", dass das Etikett zusätzlich mit dem widersprüchlichen Aufdruck "IPD Ltd. - GU35 0QW Hampshire (UK) " versehen wurde. Ein weiteres Indiz für ein Plagiat war zudem, dass der Deckel der Flasche nicht in gewohnt sanfter Weise über den Vaporisator glitt und vom Originaldeckel geringfügig farblich abwich.Der Versender hat meine Reklamation umgehend bearbeitet und den Rechnungsbetrag erstattet ... deswegen der eine Stern.

Seit unzähligen Jahren mein absoluter Lieblingsduft von dem ich mich NICHT satt riechen kann. Männlich, dezent, frisch - einfach unverwechselbar. Findet und riecht man nicht an jeder Ecke. Ein Traum!!!

Habe schon öfter diesen Duft bestellt und ich muss sagen, er ist immer wieder toll.Ein echter Klassiker, sehr intensiv und frisch.Überhaupt nicht süß, grün moosig und würzig, für Männer die klassische Düfte mögen.

Mein Duft seit vielen Jahren. Hoffentlich gibt es ihn noch lange. Schwer zu bekommen in den gängigen Parfümerien. Der Kauf über Amazon war unproblematisch, verlief reibungslos und ich habe noch etwas gespart. Danke!
