Flimsy, and thin but get the job done
I ordered these and wrote on them with a white sharpy for labeling my garden sprouts this year. Well, about week later Texas sent a tornado through the area with 35 mph winds.Despite the high wind and the very thin, flimsy plastic these little labels stayed put in the ground (probably from being so low down.) But they held up through that. Time will tell on the Texas sun this summer, so I'll be back. From the pictures I was thinking these would have a little more sturdiness to them. They are quite thin, and many arrived slightly warped from being shoved together. If you have some you need to flatten out, put them under a cinderblock or something else flat and heavy for about 72 hours. Did the trick with some of mine that were too wobbly.

I’ll buy again & my neighbor just ordered hers
Had these for 2 months now & the pens mark the tags perfectly and have not faded

scratched and covered in dirt
Many of the items came extremely scratched and with dirt on them as if they had been dropped on the floor and thrown around. It's not a huge deal since it is just for my garden but I was disappointed to see how many of them were damaged. Many of them also came bent due to the way that they were tied together.

Weather-proof and Fairly Durable Plant Markers
I really like these. They are fairly durable, but they *will* break with the right amount of force, so you don't want to step on them the wrong way or use excess force to put them in the ground. If you have very hard, clay-like soil, I recommend using a gardening tool of some sort to create the narrow hole that you will need to insert these. That said, however, these are really good plant markers and will be excellent in a variety of settings. The black appears to be a non-fading black plastic (I've had mine in the ground in full sun for a year and not even an inkling of wanting to fade) that is easy to write on with a silver sharpie, but you could also easily see gold sharpie. If using indoors, I would imagine paint pens would work well on these. My favorite thing about these: They are discrete, weather-proof labels that I can use in my garden to label my different plants.

Nice looking as long as they don’t get wet
Unfortunately the writing does stay when it gets wet. Even after a few week to set, it still washed away. If you put it in a small pot that you have water, it would be perfect.

Came bent, sorta see through
They don't lay flat, they came a bit bent. Not a big deal for my use but maybe for others. Otherwise it's pretty sturdy, they are kind of see thru.

Value
I like the size and the shape, a few pieces were cracked when I opened the packaging but not enough to cause an issue. I’m not sure they are actually “eco friendly” as the listing states because I’m pretty positive it’s just plastic. But for aesthetics I like them!
