I have been using Kenra Color Maintenance shampoo for the last year and loved it. However, I just received the new bottle I ordered and it has new packaging-red letters on the bottle and a new men’s cologne type smell. They have changed their formula for some reason and my hair looks terrible now after washing it. Why Kenra, why??? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. They should have stuck to the original formula! I will be returning this item.

New smell.. new formula= bad reviewI’ve used Kenra for YEARS! The new formula leaves my hair still feeling dirty. It’s almost like it’s watered down. I’d compare it to using dish soap with water. I hate the new smell. However, my other Kenra products still have the old smell.. the smell I know and love.I’ve often thought this was the Kenra bottle but they sold me something else inside. Anyone else have this issue?

I love Kenra Color Maintenance shampoo it is a great product to use on my colored hair. Shampoo is 5 star. However there's a compound packing and shipping problem: When I received it, the bottle lid had come loose in shipping and some had leaked out in the product bag that was to contain spills; plus the top seam of that bag had split open in shipping and the loose pump head was exposed. Some shampoo had leaked out. Fortunately I opened the box several hours after receiving and it had not leaked long enough to spoil the rest of the items in the order. Oversized box, no air pillows allowed the items to move around while being shipped until the shampoo lid became loose, bag seam split and shampoo leaked out. Not rocket science. Shampoo needs a safety seal to hold lid in place and a more substantial product bag for shipping.

This is my favorite shampoo. Does a really good job of cleaning, without stripping my hair. I only need a few sprays of their leave in conditioner after washing my hair with this shampoo. My hair feels clean, conditioned, no flyaways but not greasy either. I like the pleasant yet light fragrance. The pump makes it easier to use in the shower.

Great shampoo and has a nice smell but not overwhelming. Really keeps my hair color longer and leaves my hair feeling soft and I’ve noticed less hair loss. The only negative I have is not related to the shampoo but how it arrived - it was in a shipping envelope and the top broke off which lead to some of the shampoo sitting in the bag with some vegetable seeds 😏

I've always used Kenra shampoo. I noticed the packaging is different. I'm not sure if this is a fake but it has dried my hair out!!!! , I had to get a professional treatment to bring it back to soft and shiny!

I received shampoo and conditioner along with a smart watch in the same shipment. Shampoo pump was busted, and made a mess and I had to replace it all. Conditioner was fine. Tried to replace shampoo, but the replacement bottle was busted too. So I decided to just get it refunded instead trying a 3rd time.

Took over a month to arrive. When it finally did, it had leaked all over all my items in my package. Not fun to clean up. Other than that it smells nice and seems to have worked well for me in the past.
