Garmin Varia RTL 510 Bicycle Radar with Rear Light

This is one of the best products i have ever purchased for my bike. Easy to set up and link to GPS system. i was dubious at first but as soon as I put it on i hit the road immediately it warned me visually and with a beep when a car was behind me, it also visually shows multiple cars and so you know what's behind you. it has never given me a false reading and it is extremely useful if a pot hole is approaching and you have to move out knowing nothing is behind you. The only thing i cannot comment on is the increase in flashing when a car approaches as (obviously ) I cannot see this. I never go out without it. There is no product i rave about but this is the exception. The only caution I would add is that the price is variable on Amazon I only paid £87 pound when currently it is selling at over £150, bide your time but don't hesitate when the time is right.

Only had a day but does the trick, fits easily and securely, the light is effective, and the radar and warning are accurate.Only thing is it’s a bit expensive.

Excelente calidad en materiales! Como siempre garmin nunca decepciona! Ya en funcionamiento es muy bueno, detecta absolutamente cualquier vehículo! Si sales a rodar en carretera es indispensable contar con este radar por seguridad!!

Ni lo penseis!! No se salir sin él, te da mucha trankilidad, luz gradual en intensidad i parpadeo a medida k se acercan, segun la velocidad del coche te marca en distinto color para saber incluso k te van a adelantar muy rapido o normal. Espectacular

Lo consiglio a tutti i ciclisti su strada, è un ausilio veramente molto utile per la sicurezza, sia passiva, grazie alla luce posteriore che si può impostare fissa, pulsante o lampeggiante e ci rendo molto visibili anche e soprattutto di giorno, sia attiva, grazie al radar che rileva i veicoli in avvicinamento. Il funzionamento è impeccabile, quando suona è perché c'è una macchina e suona sempre. Il display dedicato è semplice e molto funzionale, lo uso anche potendo collegare il sensore al ciclocomputer, in modo da non affollare quest'ultimo con troppe informazioni. Affrontare il sopraggiungere di qualunque autoveicolo potendosi preparare a farlo nel modo più funzionale, perché consci del fatto che sta accadendo, è un notevole aumento della sicurezza per il ciclista su strada, considerando che molte volte, per esempio in discesa o col vento contrario, la macchina non la sentiremmo arrivare, se non magari all'ultimo, con tutto ciò che ne consegue. E' in grado di segnalare anche l'approssimarsi di più veicoli in sequenza e se arrivano a velocità sostenuta.
