Leaving Lavender Tides: A Lavender Tides Novella

A Nice Quick Romantic Read
This was a pretty interesting and good read. I was well engaged enough to complete it in less than 24 hours. While it's a simple romance story set in Hawaii, with a mysterious person who is seeking to harm or possibly kill Banister or his wife, whilst on their dream honeymoon. Even though the story itself wasn't quite realistic, it was entertaining, and I appreciate the questions presented by the author at the conclusion which ties in the practicality of the content of "Leaving Lavender Tides."

Leaving Lavender TidesA Lavender Tides Novel #1.5By Colleen CobleShauna and Zach Bannister have left the danger of Lavender Tides, Washington, behind as they celebrate their marriage with a honeymoon in Hawaii. But a new danger is stalking them and unless they can figure out who and why they may never make it back home.Someone has decided that Shauna is their lost love and he'll do anything to get Zach out of her life. When a series of accidents that almost cost Zach his life Shauna fears that she may lose yet another person dear to her. An anonymous flower delivery leaves the pair wondering just what is going on. But the truth will be what they least expect.A secondary storyline has Zach searching out information about Shauna's long-missing siblings, which anyone who has read book two will know has a partial outcome that is one that makes Shauna happy. This is a definite mystery that is an easy to read novella that fills in the spaces between books one (The View from Rainshadow Bay) and two (The House at Saltwater Point). The story portion of the book is only 136 pages followed by discussion questions. If you are looking for a quick read for your book club with a story that could be a stand-alone this is one that you may want to try.

Should be book 2 in the Lavender Tides series
I had the Lavender Tides books for a while. Started reading them a few weeks ago while on vacation. I really enjoyed them. I just started this book after reading the other 4 books in the series and discovered that this book should be book 2 in the series with a total of 5 books not four. I really don't enjoy reading a series of books that are out of order. If you are reading the series make sure you read this book second.

Another Exciting, Heartfelt Story
This tells the story of Shauna and Zach's honeymoon away from Lavender Tides on a cruise around the Hawaiian Islands. It is a sweet story filled with love but also action and suspense because one or both of them is in life threatening danger. It is a terrific story.

Honeymoon in Paradise
I like the characters, and the beautiful sunsets in Hawaii. The outdoor activities are easy to relate and enjoy through the descriptions. Hawaii is a place where most people would love to go but many can't. Reading this story was a fun alternative.

fooled me
I got fooled .... I thought this was a full size paperback, when in fact it was a mini novel. I wouldn't have purchased it if I had read the fine details. :/

Honeymoon horror!
When Zach and Shauna boarded the cruise ship, they were so very excited about their Hawaiian honeymoon! Then “accidents” began to happen with Zach. Were these innocent pranks or intentional attacks? Suddenly, Shauna was the attacker’s target. This is an excellent story of suspense, romance and trusting God through all trials.
