this takes a bit longer to brew than the machine i had previously, and the flavour is much stronger, so we are using less coffee. very pleased, going to get another for the office whenever it reopens

Sadly this isn’t as great as I’d hoped.- When filling the top with water, if you use the coffee pot itself, you can’t get the last bit of water out due to the curved design of the pot.- coffee is hot, but not boiling. By the time you’ve put milk in it cools it enough to drink straight away.- the 10 cup suggestion is very misleading. It’s not even four big mugs.- the half fill option gets you one and a half cups- forty minute keep warm isn’t enough. My last machine did two hours (and had a larger volume capacity - sigh, I do miss it)- we keep ours turned off at the mains unless using. This means you have to wait one minute before it will allow you to start the machine.Overall I’m not really impressed for the price - just don’t tell my husband!

I recently bought this coffee machine, and while it certainly looks stylish, its design is more focused on aesthetics than practicality. One major flaw is the water level indicator, which is inconveniently located at the side towards the back, making it necessary to pull the machine forward just to check the water level while refilling. Another issue is the keep-warm function—it turns off automatically after 40 minutes, and there’s no option to adjust this. I also found that using the original filter requires more coffee to achieve the same taste as with a paper filter, likely because the water drains too quickly through the filter. If you’re someone who prioritizes design over functionality and doesn’t drink coffee all day, this machine could work for you. However, for a heavy coffee drinker like myself, it didn’t quite meet my needs.

Product looks great but is very cheaply made. Totally recommend buying a £50 coffee maker and keeping the other £220 in your wallet. SMEG is a total disappointment.

Nice product but e felt it might have been refurbished. It also missed the measuring spoon and despite contacting the seller, haven't hear anything yet. I bought this for my bf birthday and he loved it except the spoon was missing.Thank you

This coffee machine makes delicious, flavoursome and smooth coffee every time. It's pretty straight forward to use once you've read the manual. To add to this, it looks great. It's not overly big but it definitely isn't small. For sure you'll notice it in your kitchen!My gripes are very small. If you use the glass coffee pot to fill the tank, the glass design means it doesn't fully empty the water from the pot unless you literally turn it upside down, water splashes everywhere. Secondly, the hole for filling the tank is not big enough or easy enough to access because the machine's lid is sort of in the way. Finally, the water gauge on the side should be on the left so you can easily watch it rise to the necessary level as you fill it up (however, that only applies if you're right handed).

Looks great. Nice metal body. That's about where the positives end. The negatives: Makes lukewarm coffee. Cheap nasty feeling plastic jug handle. Terrible lid design for filling with water. Unintuitive timer programming, difficult to tell if it's set or not.Overall a flawed product and very poor value for money. Style over substance. Sent it back and replaced it with a Technivorm on a Smart plug which is a million times better!
