Protection for shrubs during winter weather!
I owned one of these items in the past and they are great for protecting shrubs from the weight of heavy snow. The sun and rain does reach the plants and roots so the plants don't die off. I now have 4 different sizes for 3 different shrubs and the strawberries in the above garden picture!

Great Product
I live in northern Nevada, zone 6. I planted boxwood and photinias about mid summer, too late for them to get established in this zone. I bought 2 sizes of these covers to protect the plants from our 0-10 deg winter nights. These covers are well designed. I did have broken rods in shipment and Nuvue will replace them within 60 days. The other issue here is that I live near the Carson pass and we get winds near 50 MPH or higher. I recommend these improvement if you also have winds to content with. Get some 8 inch zip ties, about 1/8 or 3/16 in wide and put them around each rod in 6 places, 12 total. You have to cut a small hole to insert the ties through. Also put a tie at the top of the cover to lash the two rods together at that point. Make sure you put all the stakes in the ground, 8 total. The plastic stakes that come with are good. The metal stakes are easy to pull out so get some other, larger stakes. I also tied a line to the top of the cover and to a fence or tree nearby. The loops that come on the cover are good, none have torn out so far. This takes little time and you will be glad you did it. Happy growing!

Works Perfectly for My Needs
I’ve only had this a week, but it is working perfectly for my needs! I planted my pansies in one pot on the front porch very late this year and just a few days before the December cold set in. I’ve been using this shrub cover over the pot on nights that we get down to 32 degrees or lower and my pansies are looking great so far. One night I woke up to 19 degrees and my pansies looked a bit puny that day but they perked up quickly! I live in a mid-Atlantic state and this cover seems to be doing its job!

Functional and attractive all wrapped up in one.
Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase, it seems like it's made of a durable material, the setup was easy, it goes up like a tent with 4 ground stakes (provided) one in each corner. As it happens we got our first snow storm of the year and they didn't collapse from the weight of the snow. My only concern is the loops that they've sewn into the corners seem like a weak link. These loops hook on to the ground stakes and it seems to me that from the constant blowing of the wind against the shrub cover, that the loops would eventually tear from being tugged on and then the cover is useless. That said I've had them for about a month and so far so good, no evidence of any problems. I think these are far more attractive and functual then wrapping the shrub with burlap and twine. A nice feature when spring comes is that theses fold flat for storage when not in use. I would recommend these to anyone looking to protect their tender shrubs from winter.

Outdoor shrub covers
Very happy with our purchase...we had a small problem when the shipment arrived we only received half the order...I went online and found the company and was able to do a live chat with a nice woman called Sandy I believe. She re sent out the missing covers and we had them in a few days...great customer service! Thank you again Sandy! You know who you are..lol

As expected
Don't know yet about durability or studiness -- just installed yesterday.Cover has to be tied down to support ribs; with the size I ordered, the support ribs and the seams on the cover don't line up, so the fit between the two is not great, takes some stretching & pulling to get it all assembled. But it works.

Not perfect.
I had to install 4 tents. They are well made, easy to put in place, especially for someone who has pitched lots of tents.Surprise, surprise following a heavy rain storm with 50mph wind gusts one tent was sitting on the lawn and another was almost out of it's spot. Not a good thing. Probably this will not happen once the ground is frozen. I use these to protect the bushes from being devoured by the Deer. Perhaps the pegs need to be redesigned.

I will say that they are easy to use and set-up but I would not buy ...
We had purchased 3 of these all of which should have included the pegs and they did not. Then at the end of this winter season there was a large rip in one of them near the top of the item. It is kind of a disappointing item. I will say that they are easy to use and set-up but I would not buy them again.

It covers and it will protect from snow.. ...
It covers and it will protect from snow... but all 4 pegs have broken and it flies away in the wind all the time.
