perfect for docking the Nintendo Switch without actually docking it
So far it works very well, I use it to run the Nintendo Switch with a dock without actually docking the system. I like it a lot since i have a cover for my switch and it won't fit in the dock, so far this is the perfect solution. Great cable and does exactly what i need it to do.

Hard to find cable works just as it should
This is a great extension cable does exactly what it's supposed to do and it's hard to find these types of cables especially with 3.1 USB and type c. Made of high-quality cable and durable material seems like it will last a long time.

Not compatible with Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter
The product description and reviews gave me hope that this product would work with the Apple Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter on a 2017 15" MBP. But unfortunately it doesn't. The display doesn't connect, and the power charging toggles between on/off.I'm giving this 2 stars because I've not been able to find any cable that works in front of the Apple Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter yet. Recommendations welcome!

Does not work for data transfers... What?
I needed this Type-C extension cable to go from my motherboard USB 3.1 Type-C connection (pictured below (Gigabyte x399 Aorus 1950x )) to any of my USB hard drives, thumb drives and Cell phone. It failed to do that. I created a video to show you what it does with this cable. So its essentially a very expensive Type-C charging cable. I couldn't test the video capability because that is not the purpose of my purchase was.** UPDATE: Waiting for a second cable from them. If it works, then I'll change my review. But until then, this stays up.Always unbiased non BIASED reviews from JoeteckTips.

Works but female end not reversible exactly.
Works almost as it should. Originally bought it for my Nintendo switch but later decided to use it on my MacBook pro. Came across an issue where I had my travel USB c dock connected and the laptop would only get power, the mouse and keyboard plugged in did not work. But when I flipped the female end (end where the dock is connected) it registered everything. So it seems the female end is not reversible or pins on one side of the end is defective.

Does NOT work as a Thunderbolt extension.
Does NOT work as a Thunderbolt extension cable with the Apple brand Thunderbolt to USB/HDMI adapter. The MacBook Pro will flash between charging and not and the video will not pass to the monitor. Total waste of money.

Great Value!
I purchased this and our son always forgets to plug in his Nintendo Switch and instead of him having to sit next to a wall outlet, he can now sit on the couch and still have the device plugged in. I also did speed test on this cable and don’t see any data transfer rate loss with extension in use!

Does not work!
Connected it today and it does not work. Transfers power but nothing else! Unfortunately return window closed so I lost that money. Stay away from this item!
