I've used this to run all of the ethernet runs in my house after having a plethora of issues with my DSL provider. This (and some additional equipment) allowed me to prove to my ISP that the electronic noise they were attempting to blame my DSL issues on were completely non-existent. They were stumped by the cat 7 cable - apparently none of them have seen it yet (yes, they tried to blame the cable at one point...sorry boys, try again). The cable is nice and flexible, the coating appears to be durable, and the quality is worth the price. I wouldn't use anything else. I would love it if they would make this with an RJ-11 connector so that I could use this from my NID right to my router and eliminate the possibility of interference entirely over that run, too - maybe someone at Hexagon will read this and start making them, too.

Switching from a CAT6 that was the traditional round to this flat CAT7. I run the cable through some wire protectors/cover/hider that already have some wires in it. I remember with the rounded CAT6, it was very difficult to fit all the wires in and find that sweet spot where the cap of the wire hider would shut. After installing this I was not looking forward to having to adjust all the wires and hope it fits. To my surprise the cover shut right up with no issues! This flat wire is EXCELLENT! Network speeds are just as good as my last CAT6. But I believe this CAT7 has much better protection from interference.

My fault for not simply buying a bulk cable:What I needed from this item was one end with a connector on it, and to cut the connector off of the other end and hook it to a wall plate.The problem with that is that, due to the flat style of the cable, the internal conductors are too small to reliably be connected to a standard wall plate with a 'V' shaped punch-down mechanism. The insulation isn't even cut. I wish that was in the technical data somewhere.Other than that....great cable. I like the flat style, particularly for affixing it to surfaces.Item delivered on time (early, actually) and as advertised.

Significantly improvement over wireless reception by up to 33%. This is even with 50 foot routed cable from living room to 2nd bedroom. On top of the faster reception over wireless, full maximum signal showed up immediately with HD. No gradual lag with wireless. Instant HD quality came on!!! I bought 2 of these for my roommates so each bedroom was hard-wired directly to modem in the living room. They are so happy. Cost for this improvement was very minimal. Great quality workmanship. I would buy it again.

So, I’m in love with this new flat design over the more popular round design, it was so much easier to hide under our carpeting, especially when running under our carpet on the stairs as it folds easier. We got this to replace a cat6 cable that kept on dropping connection which at first we thought to be our cable provider but when running tests on speedtest.net we discovered our other computers were doing 330+ MB/sec. So far we are back to running anywhere from 300-350+ Mbps/sec download and around 20 mbps upload (this our service provider’s top tier internet speed). On our intranet we are transferring files at around the 1 Gigabit speed. No loss of connection anymore.

I was very pleased with this cable. I had never used a flat ethernet before, but I must say that it is a lot easier to place than the regular cable. The performance is exactly as promised. My internet was upgraded to optical recently, and even the installer thought it was impressive, just for the fact is was a Cat7. Got bumped up to 50mbps, and it works great. Would definately recommend!

Upgraded my cabling because I have 5 roommates an who knows how many devices on my network. It worked fantastically! One cable was bad on arrival however hexagon made it right with same day responses and replaced the product! Definitely love the new found speeds without interruption!
