Good value, weird sizing
Bought this to keep in my motorcycle panniers as 'just in case' rain protection. Construction looks decent, top has zipper with a rain fly that snaps. Bottoms are elastic waist.Sizing: I'm 5' 11", 190lbs with 34" waist and bought the X-Large. The bottoms are kinda long for me, which is to be expected at x-large, but the waist is almost snug, it could probably expand out to 36 or 38 comfortably. Wearing loose fit/baggy type jeans, the bottoms are a little tight but not uncomfortable. The top is really not x-large, the arms are just about right for me, with the chest and hem fitting well. That's with a t-shirt.I guess I expected a rainsuit to be sized larger than the clothes it's meant to cover. The X-Large fits me decently, but if you're bigger than me or are going to wear thick coats, definitely get the xx-large.

Motorcycle survival gear - Order 1 size larger
I am a year round motorcycle rider. Rain, sleet, cold, frost, dry, damp, cold, colder and coldest. Nothing sucks more on a cold day than some rain. I own equipment for all the temperature seasons. Cold, warm, and hot. However I didnt own anything for the condition of rain. I decided I needed something that I could throw in my backpack and always have with me. I read the reviews on this gear and some others. I wanted just plain black because if it gets messy with grime from the road I wont have to worry about the appearance.I received my delivery today and while it wasnt raining I decided to go ahead and try it on like it was. I pulled the pants on over my jeans and put on my heavy riding jacket. Icon, insulated, all the CE padding. Its thick and has kept me warm on some REALLY cold days riding to and fro. The jacket is an XL and my rainsuit is an XXL, with my riding jacket on it fit over it PERFECTLY!!!I am 6' 4, weigh 220lbs. Jeans 38 waist with a 36 inseam and T-shirt/jacket size is XL. If your stats are in the same range and you are athletic built this will fit. If you are overweight you will most likely need something larger.Further the build and material seems of great quality. The seams are double stitched with a heat welded backer. Material is a solid construction and feels like it will hold up well to some regular abuse.

Jacket seems fine, pants are useless.
I'm not really sure how to rate this rainsuit. The quality seems okay, especially considering the price. The sizing is strange. I ordered a medium (a size up from what I usually wear) because I'll wear it over heavy clothing to do barn chores this winter. The jacket is generously cut, and roomy enough for that. The pants are another story: way too long, very skinny, and with a tiny, tightly gathered waist. If you cut the legs off just above the knee, a child could wear them. I probably would have worn them seldom or infrequently -- I have insulated ski pants and overalls for really foul weather -- so it's no great loss. As long as the jacket keeps me dry above the waist, I'll be content with this purchase. Not happy, but content.

I ordered 2XL and good thing I am just a Large
Everything you have read about the sizing is absolutely correct. I ordered 2XL and good thing I am just a Large, because the pants are just large enough, a true 2X kind of person would never fit in the pants. The jacket I am swimming in, but it will be OK with a coat on underneath. Funny how sizing varies - I had purchased a Coleman 2XL rainsuit prior to this one and it was really a 2X, you could fit two or three of the Raider pants in one of the Coleman pants. As for the quality, its as expected - cheap PVC, it will only last as long as the care you give it.

Does the job and then some
I purchased this set as I bicycle commute approx 2 miles each direction and, living in Oregon, it rains a lot. I have only actually had to use the set about 3-4 times since purchase, but they do a great job covering me and keeping me dry. Thanks to the others that warned of the smaller pants. I wear 32" waist and ordered XL which was just right/snug at the waist and plenty of room under the jacket for a backpack if needed. I'm happy with the quality and I believe it was the best possible value for the price.

For the Price I am very happy. I took it on a 5 day backpacking trip in the boundary waters, and this thing kept me dry even through a heavy rainstorm! Its material is semi thick(Which is good!) It can hold up with mild thorns. Mine doesn't have any tears or cuts and I put it through a lot!

A good suit for just in case...
I needed a suit that was economical. I wear xl in most things, but according to the chart, I went ahead and got the L. Should have gotten the larger size. It worked though. Just a little snug. It turned off a little cool, and I didn't take the leather jacket. This rain jacket knocked the chill off enough to bear it, on the way home.
