I use these connectors for everything now. I have a small solar charging system in my garden shed, located approximately 100 feet from the house. I initially set it up just for lights in the shed, but expanded the system to support wireless security cameras. I use these connectors on every connection. It makes it so easy to disconnect batteries and PV panels from the charge controller. I use #10 awg copper stranded wire in red and black (Auto type rated for 12 volts), twisted together. I use gorilla glue when I slide the red and black connectors together to form a single plug. I standardized the connections. I hold the connectors so I can READ the "A", then slide RED connector on the RIGHT side of the pair. (Read, Red, Right). This way all connectors are polarized the same.

dose just what they are ment to do

For 12Vdc ham radio projects these 30A pole connectors can't be beat for 10 or 12 gauge wires. For 'portable solar' the SB50 series connectors fit the bill for those projects.

Top notch. These are the best. I was amaized at how well they worked. This is the best solution for connectors if you are going to reconnect and disconnect repeatedly.

I've never liked these connectors, but in a week moment I tried them again. I wasn't surprised........

Why did it have to come from Asia? What a waste of energy....
