Petmate290206 Aspen Pet Oval Cuddler Pet Bed, 20" x 16", Chocolate Brown

This is an excellent buy (I'm reviewing the small PetMate oval bed - brown fabric). I have two poodle puppies, and I use the beds upstairs and down. As a new puppy-parent, I purchased several bed options, including some that are far more expensive, and these are by far the best.At first, the babies used the same one, and they could fit perfectly. They can still fit in one bed together, but sometimes prefer to hang out separately (or to play "hoard the toys" from each other). These are cute-cute-cute, great for giving pets a "snuggle" feeling, and the fabric is so soft (a suede feel, but not actual suede).I've washed the beds a few times (house-training time, y'know) and they hold up beautifully - look like new. I actually ordered a few more of these beds, because they're affordable, I can wash them but still have two in use, and they're a great size. I machine wash on a "bulky items" cycle, medium spin, warm wash & cold rinse. They dry fairly quickly (delicate or ultra-delicate cycle, or even "air dry" will do it) and I sometimes let them finish drying in the open air when they're almost completely dry.In contrast, I bought a cute bed from a major pet store chain & it is not holding up well at all. I also bought a comfy-looking bed (from Amazon) with a fluffy fabric. The puppies enjoy it, but after one wash, it looks like last-year's discount-store, faux-fur sweater. Both of these beds were twice or more the cost of this bed (PetMate).Buy it!

Y'know, I really love those soft, kind of furry round beds, but my two small dogs are the seriously focused bed diggers! Those of you who have digger dogs, know what I am talking about! Diggers can shred a fuzzy-soft bed in a day. It's just not financially feasible to have that many beds on hand! I can't get the beds that have the bottom that is removable either - same issue with the digging. That bottom cushion will end up half-way across the room. So an all-in-one bed piece that the material is sturdy enough to stand up to daily digging and is a SMALL bed - no point in having a huge bed for a 7 pound dog! I threw away the last bed that I hoped would work, but so far this one is absolutely perfect as I have watched the frenzied digging and this bed is standing up to that. AND THAT is what I needed most for my little furkid!

I bought this for my larger cats based off the measurements in the description. Unfortunately, it is not quite big enough for my needs. The description says it is 20x16. I measured it to be more like 19x14.5 inches. The inside space measures about 13.5x9.5 in. It seems soft and cuddly enough, but I need a slightly larger size for my cats. I would have given 5 stars if the measurements in the description were accurate.

I was surprised at how nice and cushy the beds (I bought 2) were to begin with.They've come clean and still look nice 2 years later. I wash them every couple months.Today was they're last wash. They still look nice, no stains. But when I washed them I ended up with half a wash machine full of stuffing. Looks like I'll be buying more dog beds in the morning.

This was one the first bed we purchased for our pug puppy 5 months ago. It has held up quite well during that time. Her digging/chewing has not caused major damage to this bed (unlike others that were quickly destroyed). With any puppy, 'accidents' are expected. This bed has soldiered on and survived numerous cycles in the washing machine. After air-drying and refluffing, it looks good as new. Overall, it has been a great little 16"x20" oval bed for our puppy.

Our Toy Poodle is 7lbs and he barely fits in this bed... I got this bed because our dog likes to be in the kitchen with us when we are in there & the floor is cold & hard.. I put this bed where he likes to sit and he is using it so I would say it is serving its purpose. Excellent price. It is great for short term use. If you need a bed for longer use like sleeping for the whole night then you have to spend some more money and purchase a larger and deeper bed for your pet.

Our 12 lb maltipoo loves to sprawl across this little bed and snooze in the kitchen. She seems to think it's comfy, so who am I to argue? I'd recommend for dogs her size or smaller.

I didn't know if my little dog would like a dog bed because she had been kept outside before she came to live with us. At first she didn't know what it was but the first night when I put her in it for the second time she realized it was hers. She investigated it, curled up, closed her eyes, let out a contented sigh and then looked up at me and wagged her tail before going to sleep.The only negative thing I would say is that it says that it's machine washable. It might be okay in one of the newer machines that doesn't have an agitator. Even on the gentle cycle in my top loading agitating washing machine the nylon material on the underside ripped and frayed by the seam. I hand sewed it and re-stuffed all the stuffing that came out. It's not the same but she still sleeps in it. All the rest of the bed is sturdy though. I just would not recommend that this bed be washed in an agitating washing machine.

Excelente producto. Tiene material muy suave y el relleno es bastante acolchonado. Tener en cuenta que el tamaño es el diámetro externo y el espacio donde se acuesta es más pequeño. Yo compre la de 50cm y quedó exacta para mi gata.

Smaller than expected, can only fit ‘maximum 3-4 kg dogs. It was broken within a day. I returned it

This is a nice cuddle bed for a small dog. It is nicely made and was a hit with my dog.

Me gusto mucho, es de tamaño chico recomendable para un chihuahua o razas pequeñas, viene alcochonada. Solo no me gusto que la compre antes del buen fin y ahora ponga que ese es el precio “oferta” cuando en realidad no, sigue siendo el mismo :(
