I was able to turn a vintage piano with these tools that I didn’t think would tune. I was very impressed when it actually worked.

Great value for the money. I would have appreciated a little brochure explaining what each item is and precisely its use. A couple of the items I'm still puzzled over even after watching a ton of YouTube videos. Nevertheless, I was able to tune up my little spinet which had been sitting without a tune for 20 years. Also, as a beginner, I couldn't have done it without the "Tunelab" app on my cell phone. I'm 71 and had to take quite a few breaks during the process; it took me three days but was a rewarding experience when my grandson played it at Christmas and said it sounded fine, who the year before had said it sounded terrible. For some get-er-done piano tuning, this kit is fine. The hammer has some flex to it, which will fight you as you try to wrestle with tuning pins. It's not THAT bad -- especially for the price -- but devil's in the details with piano tuning. I just dropped $400 on a Fujan, in part because this hammer showed me the value of a professional one.

I like to dabble with tuning my piano, it has a note that goes out about once a month. I didn't want to pay someone to tune it all the time, so bought this kit. It has everything you need and at a fantastic price. I download an app instead of using a tuning fork.

Each piece of the kit works well-only added part:a free computer program which reads the pitch of each note. Always thought tuning was beyond me, but this kit made it possible.

All that's needed to tune any piano, a very good value for all the tools included.

Pictures can't do the justice. The tuning wrench is well made, with a long handle and excellent grip in the pins. I over did my first turn and made G# sound like A. Yes, you can tune your own piano. And no, you don't break the pins, not with this wrench. And no, there's no way you break the strings. I'm extremely satisfied with the product. I can fix any off key anytime. Yeeeaaaah!

Just what I need to tune up my old piano! With a little video help from YouTube, I did it! I actually tuned my piano, saving hundreds of dollars!

I was looking for a decent quality kit for my U3 Yamaha, tuning it myself.This kit has a good big wrench but I find the muting felt seems rather thick and all the littletools are somewhat unnecessary but I am no expert by any means... If you want to start tuning your piano yourself, you really only need a wrench ( long handle is KEY!!) muting tools, felt strip and a tuning app! It's very time consuming but so rewarding! :)
