Soft and shiny
Was hesitant to buy after reading the reviews but having a great experience so far. The scent is light and pleasant without being overwhelming. I didn’t get any woodsy or overtly herbal scents to it as was mentioned. I am a longtime user of the R&Co products and usually use the Bel Air shampoo and conditioner. However the Bel Air conditioner is not cutting it this winter and I was starting to use heavy hair masks several times a week. So I tried the Gemstone. So fantastic! My hair is glossy and shiny and very straight without feeling weighed down. I may not use it everyday but it’s definitely rescuing my dry winter hair.

Not a gentle shampoo
I have very dry hair even prior to coloring, however, the OTC Herbal Essence dark teal bottle shampoo is gentler on my hair. I used this after not shampooing my hair for 5 days, and it felt as if it stripped all the moisture from my hair. It felt stiff and fried. My color wasn't recent, and it was almost time to redo, but I loved the High Five Moisture and Shine cream so much, that I thought this was a no-brainer. Not the case. Smells like expensive perfume and suds up well, but yikes to how my hair feels after!

Bamboozled.
I just spent almost $64 on shampoo and conditioner that are smaller than a can of beer?! I feel bamboozled.

Worth every penny
My hair is thin, fine and colored. R+Co products, although expensive, have made my hair healthier and able to grown longer than the multitude of previously tried products. I highly recommend R+Co products

Light Yet Luxurious!
I love R&Co - I use the Cassette shampoo as I have a lot of natural curl... and pair it with this Gemstone Conditioner which is not heavy but smoothing and the perfect conditioning for my think hair. It smells WONDERFUL!! The smell alone will keep you coming back, but it really is an excellent conditioner for all hair types; healthy, color treated or needing TLC!

Great product
I love this product. My hair gets so knotty after I wash my hair and I haven't found a conditioner that helps. This took all the knots out and smells great. I highly recommend this. They also have a leave in conditioner spray and that works great too.

Great for swimmers!
I use this at least three times a week to keep my natural color, white hair, from looking dull after swimming. I don't use a swim cap. My hair is shiny and healthy looking and people compliment me all the time about the color. Everyone should add this to their hair routine!

FAKE R + CO PRODUCT!!!
R + Co is an amazing product and I have used it for years on my hair, noticing a big difference in texture and overall health. I bought this product (on the left) and still had a small amount in my bottle bought from the salon for comparison. Notice the colour difference. Smell is different. This bottle is also 251ml where ACTUAL R + Co products are 241ml. Who knows what is truly in this amazon sold product, please do not buy!!!!

Excellent results, great for scalp/hair follicle health
I highly recommend this conditoiner. Not only does it maintain colour in your hair at the maximum level of quality long after it should have began to fade ... it repairs damage to your hair in a big way.I found it preserved colour, repaired damaged hair/scalp and left my hair silky and soft. The fragrance is quite subtle, and the results are excellent. I will be continuing with this line of product without a doubt. My regieme with these products is to pair the conditioner with:Shampoo: ORIBE Hair Care Shampoo for Beautiful Color, 8 Oz Setting Spray: V76 by Vaughn Hair and Scalp Tonic, 8 fl. oz.ORIBE Hair Care Shampoo for Beautiful Color, 8 OzV76 by Vaughn Hair and Scalp Tonic, 8 fl. oz.

Gemstone Conditioner is a Gem!
I've enjoyed all the R+Co products I've tried. I appreciate the line, its ethos (free of all parabens, sulfates, petroleum, mineral oil, cruelty, gluten). I applaud the simple yet punchy packaging and how it's made in North America. As a result of all of these pluses, the consumer is just going to have to pay more. And that is both the benefit and the drawback to this line - it's simply not inexpensive and therefore, not for everyone. But if these factors are important to you, then this is something to consider. The scent is fantastic - it would be at home in a high-end hotel, for example. It has that "pampering" feeling to it. I tried the R+Co Gemstone Color Shampoo, 8.5 fl. oz. , which has a different but no less luxurious scent. The products themselves work well for my coloured hair. I can't really tell from a few washes if it's protecting the colour or not, but it's peace of mind. A great duo, if on the pricey side for 8.5 oz. This set is one of my faves of the line.I also appreciate that the labels on both the shampoo and conditioner, whilst both gem-patterned (adorbs!) are different. The conditioner's is darker blue so you can tell them apart in the shower. A nice, thoughtful touch. R+Co Gemstone Color Shampoo, 8.5 fl. oz.

Smell is suspect, but it left my hair very beautiful.
My hair is a mix of greying (where the colour has grown out) and coloured. I can't say with any certainty if this has made an improvement to the coloured section yet, but I can say that it's left my hair really nice. My initial response to it wasn't a happy one because I don't like the scent, but I can't argue that my hair has been incredibly soft and pleasant to touch since using this.Initially, it smells quite fruity and pleasant, but when you dispense it from the bottle it has that weird 'dirty hand' smell that I detected in a different luxury conditioner I used. I have no idea which ingredient causes it, but to my sensitive nose it's a bit much to take. The smell doesn't stick around, but it did ruin my enjoyment of the process or conditioning my hair. This conditioner is runnier than most I've used in the past, so it spreads through hair well and would be good for longer and thicker hair.My hair was left extremely soft and nice and didn't get oily faster, so I'd definitely use it in the future even though I didn't like the smell. I really appreciate that R + Co's stuff is free of Parabens etc and not tested on animals too.
