Best brand of pneumatic nailers and staplers.
At first I figured MAX was out of mainstream. Do I really want to mess around with ordering some special product designed in Japan? So I purchased, tested, and returned several Senco, Milwaukee (framing nailer), and Makita products from the local big box store. Sorry Mr. Big Box!Max guns are just designed better. Seriously. They fit the hand perfectly, the controls work exactly as expected, they are always lightweight, and they exhibit beautiful industrial design. The MAX team really thought things through. Can you tell I like the MAX products? Think about it. Nailers and staplers are 90% of their product line going back decades. They INVENTED the roofing nailer. Can you imagine that as a business niche? "What do you do?" "Nailer's ma'am . . . and staplers, that's all we do." WTF? They MUST be good or the company could not have prospered all these years. And, thankfully, they are very good at what they do. So if you're a craftsman, enjoy fine tools, or just want to knock out a job with style, I say go MAX all the way.

Great Gun
This gun rocks. I was a little skeptical at first, Because I've never heard of Max. Turns out, this ones for real! Its Light weight, plenty of power to sink nails, the belt hook works great, no jams. This one is basically an Hitachi with a belt hook. Its priced more than most, But well worth it. If quality is what your looking for try this one.

Great gun. I do finish work and have been ...
Great gun. I do finish work and have been using senco forever. Since senco went into Home Depot it's been made cheap and have had problem with it. I tried Max and have been impressed with it. Never missfires and is actually made with metal instead of cheap plastic like other finish guns. This will be my go to

decent gun,terrible for repair
To be clear this is a good gun,it shoots consistently and feels great.Problem is when something breaks and needs repair you step into a world of stupidity. The main piston broke on mine after 10 months so I went online to get a replacement. There was not a single place on the world wide web that offered the part.I called the number on my manual and got an answering machine at MAX.I left a message which was returned after several hours.Instead of selling me the part I needed, they gave me the number of a company 3 states away from which I could order the part.I called the company and they said no they don't stock the part, they have to order it from MAX and then ship it to me.Worst of all the piston costs $94 dollars to replace which is beyond ridiculous. Most 15 Ga nailers pistons can be replaced for $23-$35.There is no way a MAX gun is worth the extra cost.I will not be buying more.

Not made Like the Japanese models I am used to in Japan
Not made Like the Japanese models I am used to in Japan. Trigger sticks a lot and depth adjustment is troublesome

pro gun.
Loved it. No frills or extra buttons, lights. Just a great gun for a pro I was a fan of Hitachi but after a sales rep told me they're not the same gun anymore I went with the max..
