Not cherry cola at all.
This syrup is meant to be added to carbonated water to make a cherry cola. The recipe uses real cane sugar and other natural ingredients which attracted me to the product in the first place. Unfortunately the resulting beverage tastes nothing like cherry cola. The taste isn't reprehensible, but it simply isn't cherry cola. The flavor is very earthy with a bit of a nutty tinge to it and while there is a hint of cherry flavor, whatever cherry they decided to use in the recipe seems to be the wrong one. There is also a distinct lack of cola flavor. Perhaps a better name for this product would be Sour Cherry and Tree Bark.

Very artificial taste
I do not like soda but I got this for my husband to use with his sodastream. He likes the sodastream brand ones that use cane sugar. For being organic, this had a very "stevia" type taste that leaves that weird aftertaste in your mouth and not very flavorful (he used almost half a bottle to make one bottle of soda) and still didn't taste as strong as regular soda.

I love, love, love this stuff!
I freaking love this stuff. I have ordered it multiple times from multiple vendors. It tastes great mixed with lemonade as well as regular carbonated water. The trick is you have to use quite a bit of it to get the right flavor-about 50 mL for a 12 oz beverage. It’s true it doesn’t taste anything like cola but don’t let that stop you. It is pretty damn delicious, without any of that cough syrup flavor you get with most artificial cherry flavor soda.

Yucky!!!
I wish there was a way to give this zero stars.I bought this at a local specialty sale because I love cola and I love my sodastream machine, but I hate products made with corn syrup.Mercifully I paid a lot less that it's listed for here.It's difficult to describe how bad it tastes.Think medicinal and chemical.It's basically undrinkable.I even tried to mixing it with a cola syrup I like, but it was only a waste of a good syrup.This stuff is just vile.
