This is the only perfume I use.I got my first Ange Ou Demon from the mum of a kid I tutored. Now, what you have to know is I'm very sensitive to perfumes. Especially floral scents. At the least, they make me dizzy. At the worst, they give me excrutiating migraines. So, you can understand my apprehension when the smiling mum handed me this bottle. For the longest time, I put it on the highest shelf on my bookcase and avoided looking at it. For weeks, it judged me from atop its shelf. Then, I had to attend a wedding with my good friend. I decided, "now or never". I cautiously took it down, sprayed once into the air and swiftly walked through. Oh, holy heavens! What new world! What new sensations!No dizziness. No nose-stinging. No retching. No headaches from hell. Just the sweet, sweet scent of grace and beauty. Even my friend fell in love with it and I had to buy one for her.If you are sensitive to pefumes like me, this is for you.

I purchased this on Amazon because it was less expensive than department stores. I had previously purchased it at Dillards. The scent is crisp and clean but feminine. I never layed the scent with lotions. I spray 2-3 sprays. Initially it did not smell very strong and and I felt the scent dissipated quickly. I could not smell it after it dried unless I smelled my shirt or wrist up close. Therefore, I would say it is not overpowering. And I do think the scent changes over time the longer you have a bottle.
