Great product, clear directions, and a perfect solution to guest room issues
Terrific design and execution. Great for a guest room because a) you can use a very good mattress and not the type of thin pad that folds up In the innards if a sleeper sofa and b) you can accommodate two guests who do not want to sleep in the same bed.Instructions for assembly are easy to follow and all parts (including hardware) are clearly labeled. The beds stack and are held in place by metal dowels. In a pinch one person can stack and unstuck the beds by taking the top mattress off and moving the frame and then putting the mattress back on.Speaking of mattresses - I bought two Serta Boulevard II eight-inch mattresses from Big Lots. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. (Good price, too.) No need to settle for a thin foam mattress. The pictures were taken with the factory wrap on the mattresses when I tested them for size.All-in-all, an excellent product. Versatile, well-built, and perfect solution for the guest room.

Brilliant design!
Brilliant design! I have been looking for a stackable bed for years and finally found it on Amazon. The bed was easy to assemble, taking me about an hour. The only issue I had while assembling was that one of the pre drilled holes was not long enough for the screw. I stripped the head trying to screw it in. Had to get out the big adjustable wrench to make it work. The screw-head and the leg look pretty rough. Don't care. Great bed, totally fits my needs. Very sturdy. Worth the wait! Highly recommend.

Great solution for guest beds
Bed was easy to assemble, and fits perfectly in the guest room. I like that the beds can be stacked for only one guest, and that they can be separated and used as two twins or pushed together for a couple. They are also low to the ground when unstacked, so they are great for small kids. Would have given them 5 stars, but they needed additional slats (I added 4 but 5 would probably be even better.) Since the bed is wood, the slats were easy to add, but it meant that the spacers they provided for even spacing had to be cut down. I would have preferred the bed in white, but the black is okay.

Great spacesaver in extra bedroom
These beds came with all pieces very clearly marked, so were fairly easy to assemble. I did it alone and it took me several hours only because I had no experience with barrel nuts, and obviously with only myself to try to hold them while tightening screws. I love how they look when stacked, especially because I have them in an extra room that is small.Cannot really speak to the durability yet as they have only had 5 nights use during the holidays. My guests said they slept well on them. I have 6 in. innerspring mattresses on them.So far my overall opinion is they are pretty good for the money.

Fits our needs perfectly.
We wanted twin beds for our guests but lacked the space so these beds became the solution. We had a bit of trouble putting it together as some of the holes weren't quite right. A drill is much better for installing the slats so you don't have to try to insert the screws by hand bending so far over. The specs say to use a 6" mattress but we used 7" mattresses and could probably gone to an 8". The pegs holding the beds together tend to flip out when the beds are taken apart, so next time I'm going to gather them all and put them away until the beds are put together again. When apart, the beds are very low but if used as together as a single twin, it is just like a regular bed. Very sturdy and perfect for our needs.

Great item!!! Solid, sturdy and very well made.
Arrived on time and they are everything we hoped for and more. Solid wood. Very easy to follow directions. We used the provided Alan key and a drill. Two sets of these assembled in just over an hour. We're very happy with this purchase. No issue fitting Lucid 6 inch mattressss. Solid construction. Kids are thrilled. Very happy with our purchase!

Good in every way, except one.
These stackable beds are easy to assemble, sturdy, and attractive. However, not enough slats are provided, necessitating a trip to Home Depot. We did not anticipate having to spend another $118 on slats. We were surprised that this issue was not raised in the previous reviews.

Could have included more slats but...
It's a decent bed for a guest room, and fairly straightforward to put together. I like that it will still stack with an 8-inch mattress in place. 7 slats per bed might suffice for a spring mattress, but if you decide to use a foam mattress, more slats are needed for support. My workaround was to put a layer of very rigid, sturdy box board over the slats to distribute the weight of the memory foam mattresses.
