great inserts for stinky feet!
Hi all -- first disclaimer: I have purchased about 20-packs of these liners, and I put them in EVERY pair of shoes I own. Now, ChuShu has asked me to write a review in exchange for one packet of their liners. Needless to say, I'm writing it -- but not for the one packet (although I do need to re-stock!) but because I truly think these are the best shoe liners I have used in years. I live in Baltimore, with 100-degree days, as well as sub-freezing days. Either way, I hate to wear nylons because my diabetic feet sweat, and my shoes were developing the familiar 'sour stink' thank simply cannot be cleaned out. I was, as others have mentioned, throwing out shoes that were not worn out because of the odor. Then, I found these. They are a shoe saver for me. I really do wear them in all my closed-toe, and peep toe shoes. I do not wear them with sandals, although I may try that this coming summer. My only recommendations are that they make these a tad wider (make them for 'wide' sizes, and those of us who wear 'B' width can trim them if needed. Right now, they do not cover the width of my B-width shoes.) The second suggestion, along with other reviewers, is that they improve the 'sticky' material on the bottom. I have found that some stick like glue, while others move around -- and it does not matter if your shoe 'sockliner' is make of leather or vinyl. I have not used them in fur-lined shoes, so a merchandising line for that would also be nice. Nor have I used them in shoes with a 'Nubuck' sole, like my sandals have -- I will try that this summer.I strongly recommend these liners. They really do help keep the odor down, and help to eliminate some of the 'stickiness' your toes feel after wearing shoes for an entire day at work. I'll be ordering more - and waiting to see if they start making them wider and tackier, too!

Amazing product, can't live without them now
Before I found Silver Linings, I could never really go sockless. Its such an embarrassing problem, and I am a stickler for anti-bacterial, anti-germs, and cleanliness in general. Every time I bough a cute new pair of ballet flats, they'd inevitably end up in the trash a couple weeks later because the stink would start to get out of control. No amount of daily foot scrubbing with anti-bac soap, powders, etc would keep it at bay, and my feet would slide around from moisture in my shoes after several hours in them. You see, I live in a city where a LOT of walking and being on my feet is done. And ballet flats or sneakers are pretty much my only option - I can't wear open heels for 10 hours a day. This problem really got me down and made me feel icky. I never understood it when I'd see girls sockless in super expensive flats.I was skeptical when I first tried Silver Linings as I just didn't get how they could ever work. But they do! Like magic! Not only are my feet daisy fresh all day, but they're completely dry too. I finally have the confidence to take my shoes off around others. I think this product is truly a miracle, and has really solved a nuisance problem for me. I've been using these for years now and I'll continue to buy them as long as they're offered and I'm at the point where I don't use anything else.A few things to be aware of --- they don't adhere the greatest to shoes that are fabric on the inside. I have to stop and adjust them because they sometimes shift around in my shoes. Though I love that they don't have an adhesive and won't ruin my shoes, I sometimes wish they did just do they'd stay put. This is mentioned in a LOT of other reviews and it's true - with certain types of fabric insoles they will slide around. This is easily remedied with a touch of superglue. Vinyl, Plastic, or Foam insoles? They stick and stay put just fine.- Also, for those particularly tight and un-breathable shoes, I wish they'd come out with a full foot version. The half is sufficient (at least for me) in most shoes, but I do have a couple that I have to be careful with because the heel isn't protected.- They're a bit expensive, and you have to replace them every couple weeks. (Or sooner, depending on how frequently you wear the shoes). I think ChuShu may be alienating certain consumers by not offering a product that lasts longer and has a bit of a high price tag. I was so thankful for the 5-pair value pack they were offering.Reminder that you CANT just stick these into already stinky shoes and hope they eliminate the odor. They work best on clean shoes as a preventative. I've ordered 2 pairs of my favorite ballet flats and the second pair have wayyyy outlasted the first pair with the use of Silver Linings.Overall, I LOVE this product and know a ton more women would too if they knew about them and had easy accessibility to them. I really think they should be in every walgreens, walmart, and CVS around the block, much more than that Dr. Sholls garbage.

Don't stick like they used to :(
I purchased a set of nude colored shoe liners from Chu Shu in 2013, and they were amazing. In fact, I still have them in a couple pairs of shoes 4 years later (yes, I know you're supposed to replace them, don't judge) - they stayed in place so well, and they are so thin they fit comfortably in any shoe! This year I bought a new 5-pack of liners. While the material feels a little softer and more plush than my original set, they do not stick to my shoes for anything. I tried cleaning the inside of my shoes prior to applying, I pulled out new pairs, and no luck - they immediately slipped around or scrunched under my toes as I walked. I was a big fan of this product when I first tried them in 2013, but something seems to have changed.

Amazing, Problem-Solving Product
This is a great product that every woman should own. I never thought I had a serious problem with my shoes stinking, but I started to notice that my summer work shoes weren't lasting very long before smelling dingy, especially if I wore them a few days in a row. These liners made a huge difference in terms of keeping my shoes fresh. I love that I don't need to rotate shoes to let them dry out (really, who plans that much?! If I have a favorite pair of shoes, I want to wear them all of the time!). These are especially great for wearing dress shoes without hose. The color is discreet and you cannot see them when they are under your foot, so I've worn them with open-toed and strappy shoes. The backing isn't sticky like I expected, but I've never had any problems with them shifting around on me. Just make sure the surface of the shoe is clean before you put them in, and they stick fine.

Didn’t work.
Didn’t work for me and the liner always rolls up in my shoe . Keep the smell for 1 day and the liner was smelling so bad . For the price not worth the money

Not As Advertised
These shoe liners are just okay. I use liners especially in the summertime when I wear flats or heels and the one's bought at any shoe store work the same; they are not really for odor eliminating. I prefer the fabric liners instead of the gels because they are not as thick so your feet still fit in your shoes without feeling crammed. If you're buying these for odor absorption get the spray at the Payless Shoe Source store because it works much better and smells fresher.
