They are a little thinner than the old ones I replaced, but they are durable. I've had them on there for a couple months with heavy use and they work great!!

Worked great for us. We cut them in half and use them on our chicken coop doors. Works great for that application. We are going to buy more for sure.

I got this to put on a screen door. While it does the job, it is not a heavy-duty spring, nor is it adjustable.

Used to include in my squirrel obstacle course. Probably too strong for the purpose, since the squirrels weigh so little - but they’re so funny when hanging on and nibbling the corn attached to it. They seem to like the novelty, too. We certainly enjoy watching them swinging and bouncing around on it!

Love the price! The ease of installing and the good old spring door sound!

Can't get much simpler or reliable than a spring. My outer front door is an Anderson Glass Storm Door. Heavier than a screen door. Standard Pneumatic door closer cushions door in summer, slams door in Winter.Needed to open door 90 degrees to latch open at latch on porch rafter. Standard closer fell 2 inches short at full open. Spring allows door to open well beyond 90 degrees. Door now can be latched wide open (pull chain release), for bringing in groceries, large furniture. Installed so that spring is stretched 2 inches when fully closed. Not much force needed to fully open. Much less tension than with Pneumatic type. If I hold door open about a foot and release, it will spring close and latch firmly without loud slamming. Nice! Probably ideal if two springs mounted, but the way it's set up works fine for our purposes.
