Amazing title all the DLC on the disc
For a game that's almost 8 years old now this version comes with all the DLC on the disc and if you haven't played it and love real time action adventure games I highly recommend it.

Lord of the Rings Strikes Back With Vengeance
Shadow of Mordor is one of those games that will have you exploring every nook and cranny that the world has to offer, battling countless captains and throwing Uruk armies against each other for pleasure. The game is remarkably big for an open world action game and has quite a bit to offer ranging from an interesting and inventive nemesis system to a detailed and fluid combat feel and a massive amount of lore that rather than coming off as forced collectibles, adds quality content to your play. Just a quick aside, the nemesis system I referred to is a key aspect to the world of Shadow of Mordor and adds an interesting and in-depth look into how we normally perceive enemies and their relation to the player while moving through the story. Without going into too much detail on the story and plot I will say that while the possibility for an amazing story exists, the general arch is a bit weak for a Lord of the Rings related game. That's not to say you will enjoy it, revel in the moments, and lust for more--but rather, you will be left with some questions that you wish were answered along the way instead of left up to your imagination. An additional plus with the game of the year edition is that it comes with the two DLCs, both adding interesting and enjoyable content, as well as a number of runes, different costumes, and challenges to dump more time into.Breaking it down I look at Shadow of Mordor like this:Pros:Fluid combat system.Enjoyable and worth wild collectibles.Engaging plot-line and characters.Detailed environments that engross the player.A nemesis system that is revolutionary and incredibly enjoyable.A fun and enjoyable, new route on Lord of the Rings.Cons:A story that could have used more time spent with it.Some interesting content found in the collectibles that was not brought to fruition in game.May be some brief moments where textures and characters do not render correctly, but this is minimal at best.As you can see, I am reaching to find flaws with the game. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and actually played all three versions available to Xbox gamers (Game of the Year edition, regular Xbox One edition, Xbox 360 version) and completed all three to the maximum gamerscore. It truly was a rewarding and invigorating experience and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for some fun in a Lord of the Rings setting, or anyone searching for a fun new action game.5 Black Gate Defended Stars out of 5!

"Lord of the Rings" fans? This is a must for you, you won't be disappointed.
This is one of the best games I have ever played. I am a "Lord of the Rings" nerd and when I saw it, I didn't care if it was great or not.The combat is incredible, it is easy to play and fight multiple attackers at once. I understand it is similar to Batman or Assassin's Creed. The map is huge, so it does take a little while to get around, but there is so much going on around you. Once you learn to ride some of the creatures you can really get around very quickly. The nemesis mode is a huge part of the game, that is going on all the time, regardless of the missions. If you are "killed" by an orc he is immediately promoted and his power increases, so he becomes a stronger enemy "captain", who is never alone and he is given strengths and weaknesses that you should try to learn about before facing him again. I was killed by the same captains several times until he was maxed out and became a real difficult enemy to finally defeat. The way that the orc hierarchy is set up is very interesting and if you kill a captain a ripple effect is created within it.The missions were very interesting as well, most of them were on the easy side, but several took some time to figure out what to do. It never makes you start over from the very beginning of the mission either, so if you complete part of the mission and are killed it will start over at the part you were killed, which is very nice, since it saves time and can get boring and repetitive if not. Golem is featured in several missions which was a nice tie in to the "Lord of the Rings" storyline.I beat the game/completed all the missions in about 40 hrs of gameplay.

Totally New Game Experience
Got a Xbox One S for Christmas so I'm starting to pickup the last couple of rounds of games for the 360 that was made for the X1 like ALIEN Isolation, The Evil Within and so on.First up in this quest is Shadow of Mordor. Now on the X360 i actually thought this was a pretty good game apart from some graphical issues and slow loading screens. Now after playing the Xbox One version even though i still think the 360 copy is good this is a totally different game on the Xbox One and goes much deeper than graphics and loading screens. Now i expected better graphics but to my surprise i didn't expect in random fights i would start just for fun I'd get run right out of a area of the map by a relentless ai search and destroy campaign in till i was dead or ran out of town, on the 360 copy i would just run to a bush or climb something in till they lost me or gave up but not in this one.On the xbox one version there's also a lot more going on in the game world than the on the 360 copy and your reactions in fights half to be 2 or 3 times faster or you'll end up taking a bad beating. In short if you've passed this game up because you played it on the 360 and thought now that's done im here to tell you never really played Shadow of Mordor. It didn't win 50 GOTY awards on this generation for nothing.

Le falta mucha historia
The idea to mix the gameplay of the Arkham games with the best of the stealth based of the assassin's creed was great none the less the lack of compelling story telling and use of the lore that comes with the lord rings makes the play through become tedious and purely based on the game play, which ad I've said is great, none the less, in my point of view the lack of a cohesive story that drives you towards fulfilling the side quests and the DLC's just makes it repetitive.

Recomendado.
