I ordered these following lockdown as my hair had grown to that really annoying point, where it had obviously grown, but not enough to be able to do much with it! Having decided to grow it out again, I wasn't convinced that these clips were my answer, but if I couldn't use them, two of my daughters would probably appreciate them - and I desperately needed some way of keeping my hair off of the back of my neck, especially when the weather got warm! These are absolutely brilliant for the job - the teeth managing to do the job needed all day, with no escape of stray strands of hair!Without any hesitation I would recommend these to anyone needing something like this.

The gold finish is matte, but not super matte. They look very nice, but the main thing is that the springs are strong and feel solidly made. Please note that they are very long (which is what I needed). They are large clips but that doesn't mean you can clip and entire pony tail worth of hair with one clip. That's not how duckbill clips work. They are better for sections. I bought them to help me section my hair out when I color it, but I suspect I will end up using them in styles as well, as they're really nice!

Very strong, I have a lots of think curly hair wish makes it hard to find clips that will hold, these are pretty robustMaybe slightly expensive

Strong and and quite long , no problem holding my hair in clip .I can’t see these breaking easily either

They don't slip out of my very fine hair, and keep their silver colour even after many uses. Very pleased!

Very well made strong the spring is perfect

I am really need large crocodile clips like these to put my very long hair up into a bun. unfortunately there are little teeth on these ones which are sharp and which have caused damage to my hair. will be trying to find a smooth version and will have to wait for my hair to grow back where the clips have cut through!!
