I really liked the colors included. Most other kits come with only 4 or 5 colors. As with all hair chalk I have used, this works better on lighter colored hair. My kids love it for crazy hair day at school. My son gets really sweaty, so it won't last the day with him. My daughter likes to color each strand of her braid separately. It will stain your hands when you apply, but washes off with soap and water. For some reason the pink didn't wash out after one wash like the rest of the colors did.

This product got all over my fingers and scalp but did not affect the color of my hair much at all. I have light to medium red hair and the black barely showed up despite my efforts. I was planning to put black streaks all throughout for Halloween but barely managed to get grey roots. It was not blendable. I tried a few other colors and they didn’t seem to work either. It also made my hair feel very dry and crispy, as if I had hair sprayed it but also frizzy. It came out easily enough even with my super gentle shampoo.

We are getting ready for Halloween. I tried this on my blonde daughter. All the colors worked great except for white. First style the hair and then apply the color. I first tried wetting the hair and rubbing the chalk on but that didn’t work so well. What worked was dipping the chalk in water and then rubbing the hair with the chalk. The wetter the chalk the brighter the color on the hair. Don’t touch the hair once you are done.Washing it out was easy. It took two shampooing. Then there was just a faint trace of the purple in my daughters blonde hair but it came off at the next shower.

I was really looking forward to receiving this, and to be able to add some temporary color to my hair, but it was not effective at all. It doesn't show much on dark hair, and what little showed would just disappear if I even touched it or tried to comb or shape my hair. It comes of too easily. I really wanted to like this, but sadly was disappointed.

Easy to apply and can put in little streaks or apply broadly for more color. As the package says, it shows better in blonde hair, but it still shows in brown hair, too. It can wash out easily.My 6 year old daughter LOVES these hair chalks comb so much! She has medium hair and colour shows up great on her hair.Now she is looking forward to the upcoming Halloween party and Christmas party.So fun!Well worth the price.

The colour that these chalk things gave to my hair made it look dull and lifeless. The texture was also terrible, and it made my hair snaggy and straw-like. I had to condition my hair a bunch to get everything back to normal.

These weren’t great. I used them at a slumber party and really the colors only showed up on the blondest of hair. They were also a little messy and took a while to get color pay off and the color didn’t really last very long on most hair.The girls had fun with them but I wouldn’t repurchase.

This is an amazing product My grandchildren can have their hair looking like a rainbow all day and it rinses right out when you wash it. It doesn't damage the hair at all. Do you love dressing up You would really love this product
