Great gadget!
Why have I not used this till now? Very durable stainless steel and easy to use. I boiled my potatoes unpeeled and then peeled them (wait for them to cool a bit) I put the whole potato in there and used the smallest hole disc and then stirred in the butter and then stirred in the half and half and they were beautiful! Only prob I had after I squeezed a tater through the disc got stuck to the main plunger piece so I had to separate them. Love it.

Make sure what you're ricing is cooked thoroughly. Oops.
I broke it during my first time using it but I believe it to be my fault the product broke. I was putting too much pressure on it and eventually the press plate bent rather badly.I retrospect, I think the potatoes weren't cooked thoroughly enough. They really need to be done all the way through, especially if you're going to be using the die with the smallest holes.Aside from that, I think it would have done brilliantly. I did still get some good mashed potatoes out of it before it broke. It's very easy to clean, you can take the cup part out and clean the die plates separately.

Instant real mashed potatoes!
Much quicker than hand mashing! I used the middle sized disc for a large boiled potato and worked perfectly. I'm eager to try it with other foods and experiment with the other disc sizes. The kids had fun using it too. Very easy to clean, it disassembled completely. I've been wanting to get one of these for quite a while. I was not disappointed!

Good ricer but handle is too sharp
The product rices potatoes really well, but the handle has such sharp edges that caused me to slice open my thumb when i went to clean it. If the edges on the handle were rounded it would be perfect. So just be careful if you decide to get this product.

2 months and 3 uses
Bought this Nov 17 19 - broke, Jan 20 20. Started rusting from the 1st use, some parts are stainless but the rest I'm not sure what it is. This thing rusted so fast that the pin holding it together only lasted 2 months and 1 day, only 3 uses. Worked well was only unhappy about the rust before it broke. Would be easy to clean but you can't use water if you don't want it to rust. Would buy again if it really was stainless.

Heavy to handle
This is a durable but very heavy awkward ricer. I bout it to make spatzel and the holes are too small for anything but ricing potatoes or apple sauce.

Smash your food very well.
So I ordered this for mainly two usage. 1. for orange juice and 2. garlic. So far I am impressed. The big size is good when I have big oranges. The only feedback I have is to have some steady metal so that it will not wiggle when using itThanks

Good product.
Used it for first time last night with mid-sized insert. Pleased with product. Potatoes must be well drained for optimal results. Once the insert went sideways in the unit as I was refilling with potato so had to pop it out and put back properly. Very easy to clean as all parts come apart. Nice stainless steel finish. Seems sturdy.

Time saving kitchen must have!
This potato ricer saves a lot of time while cooking. You just have to put the boiled potatoes one by one and it will mash them just in one press. Very easy mechanism and sturdy too.

Cheaply made and doesn’t work as it should!
Cheap product - when you push down the potato comes up the sides of the plunger rather than through the ricer itself. Disappointed with this product - doesn’t work as ricers are supposed to - just holding up space in my drawer. Wish it was more sturdy. No I DO NOT recommend.
