TopeakBabySeat II Bike Rack, Disc or Non-Disc Brake Bikes - 26", 27.5", 29"

This is my third MTX QuickTrack rack and have loved it ever since I got the first one. Easy to use and they supply you with mounting brackets that can be further manipulated by bending with plenty of forwards/backwards adjustment! There are a variety of models to choose from whether you have one type of mounting point or not (such as disc brake caliper mounting points).The compatible bags that can be used with these are not ever-lasting. But the racks are very, very reliable!Edit: What I meant by my third rack is that I now have three bicycles with this rack and QuickTrack system!

I use this with a Topeak kids seat and it works well, and wasn’t too hard to install. No complaints.

I missed the part about “bikes with quick mount system” on the technicals and my bike doesn’t have that. I thought I would have to return the rack but was able to attach the stabilizing arms to the seat post locking clamp. I also had to drill out a couple of preexisting holes for the bottom to mount to and had to add longer hardware and nuts to secure it. After some re-engineering this rack is very sturdy and should pack supplies for many years to come.

I was wondering if the cheaper ($20 less), regular Topeak bike rack was just as good. It is, but it is not the same. This one is slightly thinner 5 3/8", vs. 5 5/8". It also has a hole in it for the clip.So buy this one. I bought both and the baby-seat will not fit on the regular one. they are made with the same exact materials.

Purchased this rack after purchasing the Topeak Babyseat II (which comes with a rack) so that my son could also use the babyseat on his Trek mountain bike. Now grandpa can use it when my granddaughters visit and my son can use the seat at his house when grandpa is out of town. The rack works great and can be used with paniers or other rack mountable bags making it very useful for a variety of duties. Very sturdy yet lightweight. We removed a Blackburn rack from my sons bike and had this new rack mounted in about 10 minutes.

I installed it today, and it was pretty easy. I also bought the top peak cargo bag that goes along with the rack. My boyfriend has the same thing, and I decided to get the same thing cause he really loves his. The only thing is, is that I got a smaller cargo bag, but same company. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase, and I can’t wait to use it.

Works great for the bike seat.
