This clip is advertised as being strong and great for thick hair. Hah! This thing is TINY, it couldn't hope to hold even half of my hair. Pay very close attention to the stated measurement of the clip, 3.5 inches is very small. I may try to use it on my daughter, but I doubt it will even be able to hold all of her hair. My search for a large hair clip continues....

The Perfect Mother-in-law Gift

My mother-in-law's hair is very fine and tangles easily, so it was important for me to find something easy to clasp and release, and gentle on the hair. Subtle and beautiful
Beautiful clip. Very simple style but the material puts the clip above a notch. It gives out a subtle shine similar to pearls/shells which I fall in love immediately.It's not for a large amount of hair, especially if you plan to twist hair or double it back. My hair is very fine. I can twist double my hair and pin with this clip- quite tight fit though. If without double/twist, it should accommodate a single pass of normal to thick hair no problem (just not super thick hair). the metal clip appears to be good quality and would last some time.Very happy.

Love the look of this, and it did fit all my hair into a pony, however- see pic above- it came apart after wearing one time!! Will send back for a refund. The separate pieces appear well made, but they are not connected well enough.

I like it but I thought it was going to be ...
I like it but I thought it was going to be a more light brown tortoise shell color -- it's a beige-y white. I have fine hair and it holds very well.

Beautiful Pearlized Black
Beautiful black pearlized barrette. I also like the silver clip instead of the competitions gold. Made in France just like France Luxe but less expensive. So glad I gave it a try!

Pretty hair clip
I’ve had difficulty finding hair clips for blonde hair. This is nice clip; pretty color for blondes, and perfect medium size.
